The director of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute and UPMC Cancer Centers plans to issue an advisory to about 3,000 faculty and staff tomorrow about the possible health risks associated with cellular phone use. Now my wife is also one of those that gabs on the phone all day, but it's the regular land line phone, and I've never seen her ear swell up from it. I'm not so sure that these cell phone warning aren't without merit. They do emit strong signals (try leave yours close to your pc when it rings)that could possibly have some kind of effect.
And the great new lightbulbs...Mercury...Cool...

The dreaded "mercury vapor" is produced from some of the tiny tiny amount of mercury contained in the starter mechanizm.
You probably eat more mercury in that tin of salmon or tuna than you would ever be exposed to from mercury vapors escaping from a 100 broken bulbs.
Apparently he does. You should see the painful phone bill he gets. It make ME cringe. Oh well, it's his money, and you know what they say about fools and their money... :o)
Shhhhhhhhhhhh, Dang it!
