At that time Edwards denied the charge and the Enquirer didn’t push it.
They probably didn’t have irrefutable proof but it looks like they kept the investigation going.

The NE is one of the most scrutinized and reliable sources of reporting there is. They have been sued so many times that after 2005, if the NE reports something, you can bet it’s as close to completely vetted as possible.

I didn’t call it journalism, I called it reporting. If its there, its extremely likely to be true.
I really had had to laugh today. Rush made a deal with this on his show. Limbaugh did this on purpose because he knows Silky got caught with his pants down.
He knows if this was untrue or unsubstantiated the drive bys would flame him.
