DENVER (KJCT) -- A new kind of warning has come up about protesters gearing up for the Democratic National Convention.

Denver firefighters have learned of a house full of urine being stored to throw at police. An internal memo is warning first responders that disgusting acts are a significant concern.

Protesters in other cities have used urine and feces filled balloons to throw at police and there are concerns that could happen during the Democratic National Convention in Denver.

I guess Kristinn, another friend, and I were lucky in DC back in May when we stood in front of the Armed Forces Recruiting Center to "protect" it from these moonbeams. They only threw red enamel paint at us!

Just like the Chicago convention of ‘68. Hippies threw urine and feces out of hotel windows onto police and media blamed police. Police were protecting McCarthy from his own people and media blamed police. Hippies were fornicating like dogs on the grass in the park in daylight in front of families and police stopped them. You’ll notice that “Recreate ’68” keeps popping up in these stories. These folks are organized, adaptable, and committed. Fortunately, they sometimes lack focus. We’ll see if that holds true this time.

Back in the days when we still tested nuclear weapons out at Nevada Test Site (underground), DOE had to notify the public of upcoming tests.

Of course, all of the wackos (including such luminaries as Ed Asner and Martin Sheen) would show up at the site boundary to protest the event. NTS is a super secure facility, so there’s no way they would get within many miles of the actual test location, but the site would have to bring in extra SRT officers from all over the DOE complex to cover the event. I never got to go, but a number of my teammates did. I’ve since done quite a bit of work there, and appreciate the isolation the location provides.

There was one guy who would strip naked, literally cover his entire body with dog feces, and make a run for the gate. The poor guys had to deal with him while resisting the impulse to beat him senseless.
