Look, the data is from the National WEATHER Service, not the National CLIMATE Service. Never confuse Weather with Climate. The climate is getting warmer by the day even though your weather is setting all sorts of cold records. This should be abundantly clear to anybody with a brain.

Actually, the data suggest that the climate has been cooling...since 2001.

Beneath that, there may (or may not) be a longer-cycle warming trend.

Fairly cool winter and spring too(2008).. maybe an early fall and winter(2008/9)..

Monday a moose was in the yard as I could see by the lack of leaves on the tops of certain selected shrubs. Tuesday three moose. Two wide-eyed calves, smallest possible, barely knee high.
