The press seems to be taken by the presence of these actors even in Germany (Der Spiegel used a wirephoto from AP I believe).
If they are an everyday thing, it seems odd to photograph them. Maybe they hold just about the only US flags that can be seen in Obama’s trip.
I did see one supporter who’d draped a US flag over a barricade.
Really? All the polls to date show Obama’s lead shrinking since he began this tour.
