I honestly don't know which is scarier: the fact that Obama feels compelled to apologize for the country he seeks to lead, or the fact that he seeks its perfection.

This appears to be a dangerous precedent....that a candidate for President giving a speech in a foreign country on policy...This should be reserved for the President’s cabinet or appointees. Truly this is out of order...if he wants to courtesy meet with foreign leaders then fine...not campaign or give speeches. The audacity of arrogance....ignoring protocol just like a tyrant would do.

This whole day has left me feeling ill.
Listening to Rush say that Obama had campaign signs on the barricades at the Wailing Wall. And he dared to complain about the man yelling that Jerusalem is not for sale not showing more reverence. (no doubt the man spoiled his campaign ad by shouting during his visit)
Then he’s on to Germany, criticizing America. Without America there would be NO unified Berlin. The ingrates in the crowd don’t cheer until he says he’s a citizen of the world.

If the McCain camp is smart, they will immediately put Obama’s put-down of USA in Germany in a campaign ad and run it in every purple state.

He says this at at time when there has not been a major terrorist attack anywhere in the world for years now. We will never know how many unsuspecting civilians have not been killed by terrorists because those would be terrorists have been forced to fight our troops instead, weakening their leadership’s ability to plan and organize large scale attacks on civilian targets around the world.
Who has paid the lion’s share of this? The American military that’s who. We don’t owe anybody any apologies. They owe a debt of gratitude to those who have died and sacrificed everything so they can live. I don’t expect that will ever happen but for Obama to say these things really is adding insult to injury. When will we ever learn? When will we stop being the big dogs on the block getting beat up for defending the very Chihuahua’s biting at our ankles at every chance they get?
