This is really silly.

However, while at a grocery check-out I notice a tabloid with the 'breaking news' banner declaring an attempt on Obambi's life - his plane (recall that it took a month to refurbish it and remove the American flag from the tail of the plane) had been sabotaged.

I didn't read anything about it here on FR so I figured it was nothing - it was a tabloid, after all

But maybe the press WAS aware of it and chose not to report it, and so they know there is a reason to be relieved that his plane landed safely.

There may be an interesting twist coming. There is one storyline that the media seems to like more than the 'underdog' template, that is the 'fallen hero' template. They love to build people up just to bring them down.
