Joe Scarface just asked Mitchell if McCain's rebukes of the fawning press are valid and she said with a straight face that they "..have tried to balance their coverage".

The coverage is completely balanced—50% obsequious and 50% sycophantic.

I think the majority of Americans are wise to their act. Their fawning over “the messiah” is beginning to have a negative effect. Maybe they should try being tough on him in hopes of getting him sympathy votes.
Which means they technically won’t show the journalists kissing Obama’s rosy red butt while being filmed.

As a matter of fact they have balanced their coverage: 10 hours before noon and 10 hours after noon.
She also tried to blame the U.S. military for Obama’s failure to visit wounded American troops while he was in Germany.
That backlash is long overdue... Now, if we can actually get McCain to start campaigning and get HIS lips off of Barry’s ass...

She would interview whatever Democrat at the moment and smile and gush with enthusiasm. Then you’d see her interview any Republican and she’d have a sour scowl on her mug and whe’d ask her inane question with contempt.

I’m sure Andrea Mitchell thinks they have. An objective analysis of the facts shows otherwise.
“Tried” doesn’t mean they succeeded. It means they tried and just....couldn’t....do it.
I believe this was in response to McCains comment about Obama’s throngs of supporters in France being the Press.
However true the press fawning trope may be, I don’t think it helps McCain. Nor does the inexperience label or the Obamessiah bit.
Obama needs to be painted as the Marxist, huge-government, redistributionist extremist that he is. Even though he’s trying to hide under so-called centrist positions for the general election, he has a long record of radical associates and work—training Acorn in protest tactics!—and he is adocating radical positions despite himself. Just look at the bits on greater global sharing in his big speech yesterday. He’s a Jimmy Carter on steroids and he should be identified and joked about as such, not on the more benign complaints. Too many labels aren’t going to make it through to the ignorant voting middle, and so he should be consistently painted as the radical he is.
Mitchell is a hack, and she'll say what any hack will say.
I propose we no longer refer to Barack HUSSEIN Obama Junior as “messiah”, but as the “Imam Mahdi”, as in Imam Mahdi Obama.
Messiah is a Hebrew word, and Obama doesn’t deserve it, even as a joke.
The military does not allow candidates to use them for political purposes.
The military told Obama that he could only take 2 staff members w/him and no photographers or reporters.
Nobama wasn't interested under these circumstances. Says a lot about him, doesn't it?

* Brazenly Takes credit for other people’s accomplishments - Check
* Wants to build “youth” movement through State service - Check
* Acts as if in power before he is - Check
* Some followers believe him to be divine - Check
* Worshiped and aided greatly by the media - Check
They balance their fawning coverage of Obama with vitriolic coverage of McCain. See, it all balances out.

The media seems to hire liberals to further their interests and slam conservatives.
It’s why so many of them hate Fox. Fox actually hired some with different views than do libs.
Some of their coverage is pro-Obama. And some is anti-McCain.
