McCain keeps hammering Obama on surge, national security
Politico ^ | 7/25/08

It's another reminder of how much McCain is glad to talk about national security and also to let Obama define the race.

Said the GOP nominee to a military veteran gathering in Denver:

"We rejected the audacity of hopelessness, and we were right," McCain said of the surge and Obama's long-standing support for withdrawing troops in Iraq, mocking his rival's signature phrase and the title of his most recent book.

McCain has NO spine. He does not keep on doing anything.

Relax, you just joined a few weeks ago. You will need to learn what Juan is truly like.

As well he should. Obama's stance in Iraq is not only an Audacity of Hoplesness, it is a plan that is invested in defeat and the shaming and vain of our brave personnel's sarifices, deaths, and victory there.

McCain should shut up about the surge already. The only word he should ever utter is DRILL.

McCain has to put Obama on the Defensive and keep him there.

LOL! Doesn't keep on doing things, hey? Try walking in his shoes for a week. I've heard a lot of criticisms of McCain over the years, but lack of perseverance has never been one of them. I don't agree with everything he says and does, but he is ten times the man Obama will ever be.

Here's something to watch for those who don't know a lot about McCain's past.

Too bad he can’t hammer him on his being in the damned Senate.

No, he stands by his principles. If you disagree with the stand he takes on issues, fine, but that isn’t betraying his party. Not all Republicans are just like you. Just like not all Libertarians are just like Ron Paul.

All McCain can do is try to wrap himself in the flag. He does it over and over. He's clueless when it comes to addressing real issues in any substantive manner. A word here and there. Lip service. But he always has to go back to Iraq.

McCain talked about the surge. He also said if we were to retreat we would have a third Iraq war. He was talking to military vets, so it makes sense. I dont agree with McCain on everything, but he has made his point clear about waste and pork barrel spending, OCS drilling, Bush tax cuts, national security etc.

Obama is dangerous. Dangerous to America and our freedoms. Dangerous to the world.

I received an email yesterday by someone voting for McCain. The reasoning was “I love my country more than I hate McCain”.

A VOTE FOR MCCAIN IS A VOTE AGAINST OBAMA!

You are missing the point AGAIN! Read my tag.

He is clearly the better choice. Obambi is hopeless.

My hat IS off to Juan, but I will stand strong against his values that I don’t agree with and will hold him accountable for his actions.

FRiend, I am only engaging in debate. Alas, I am putting meat on the table for discussion.

That's true. Some Republicans are RINOs. And McCain is one of them. And most of his "principles" are anathema to conservatives.

If anything, the Ron Paul comparison would apply to him in the Republican party.

When does somebody in the Republican party FINALLY say that Obama is a worse canidate than Kerry.

The women have more between their legs than the men.

Step it up NOW and save yourself the trouble down the road.

FRiend, I am only engaging in debate.

If that were really true, you would use Mr. McCain's actual name.

Ad hominem is not "debate," but it is dishonest.

I think JOHN McCain is PRO illegal alien! He does NOT stand for what I believe in.

Okay. I understand your point about debate. I will not REFER to John McCain as Juan McCain. If he would kindly debate ME about the Constitution and why he is disrespecting our Founders.

Caveat emptor - See I can use big words too...

No, actually in addition to speaking about drilling often and loud, he should also point out that Obama opposed the surge which has won the war. Following Obama's position would have made things markedly worse, would have lost the fight in Iraq, and squandered a great vistory and shamed the sacrifice and blood of our patriot warriors, all of which are volunteers.

He should also point out that Obama voted against funding the troop effort in Afghanistan.

Those are Obama's position's when it counted and pointing that out, clearly, and forthrightly, along with drilling will defang Obama's entire sordid, magical mystery tour of unfit duty that he is now on.
