Two thigs abot this strike me as odd.
1) McDonalds serves pork sausage, and Canadian Bacon, and regular Bacon
2) McDonald’s issues uniforms. The key is the uniform, meaning “presenting an unvaried appearance of surface, pattern, or color”.
Since the Hijab is not part of the uniform they must remove it if they want the job. It is the same as some brother coming in wearing a dashiki and a fez. Since Michigan is an “at will” state, either don the uniform or work someplace else.
If they really need a job the “gentlemen’s clubs” along Michigan Avenue are probably hiring, but they have “uniform requirements” too.
If they don’t want to be American that is up to them but the rest of us do not have to suffer bad sanitation and a breach of health code just to play nice to the pedophile following cult. The folks down in OZ have it right. If you don’t like the way we do things than you need to live someplace else. And don’t let the door hit you on the way out!!!!

If it were up to me, I’d allow employers to make these determinations on their own. Moreover, if it were up to me, I’d ban the damn head cover entirely, at least in public institutions like schools, gov. offices, etc.
For any woman to wear one of these is like a Jew wearing a swastika.
Until fairly recently, scarcely any American Muslim women wore head covers. But more have been driven that way by growing fundamentalism and increased pressure from men.

These Muslims need to hear some backlash IMHO. . .that if they teach a hatred of 'things' Western; hate the general MO of the country they otherwise choose to reap the benefits of; if they teach their children to hate 'things - and people - American; then these folks need to hear some politically incorrect backlash.
