The (Spiegel) article ("No. 44 has spoken")'s premise was that an Obama victory is a foregone conclusion: "Anyone who saw Barack Obama at Berlin's Siegessaule on Thursday could recognize that this man will become the 44th president of the United States."
Later that day, I read a report of a fund-raising letter from Obama on behalf of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, arguing that "We must have a deadlock-proof Democratic majority."
Yikes.
But then it occurred to me that one man's "deadlock-proof" Democratic majority is another's unchecked Democratic majority.
And McCain will then assert that if you don't like the Congress in which Senator Obama serves in the majority right now, you really should be alarmed about a President Obama rubber-stamping the deeds of a Democratic Congress next year. A President McCain, on the other hand, could check Congressional appetites - as well as work across the aisle with a Democratic Congress in a bipartisan spirit where appropriate.

BUMP!
I say the MSM and the monied interested _want_ you and US to believe that Obama is unstoppable. Just sleep, just be calm, just surrender, it won’t hurt so much. If you think about it, the battle is already lost. The country is already crumbling. Just allow your ways, nation and livelyhood die peacefully...
LOL. Hardly. The "good things" are the result of selective excerpting. Read the full articles and you'll get the full picture.
I like your tag line, but I’m not sure it’s high enough on the percentages. Wouldn’t it be closer to 99.99999%?
Today Rush sounded worried.... that worries me.
I saw another one today in an Ohio paper regarding health care. If I can find it, I’ll post it.
“A friend told me he heard there was an event prior to BHOs Germany speech where free beer was offered. Anyone else heard this?”
Yanno, the Hillary supporters have the best info!

Actually today we should have more hope.
Gallup released a poll of likely voters where McCain is leading Obama by 4 point. This shows at the very least, that the polls showing Obama 9 points ahead aren’t necessarily accurate.
Dick Morris was on H&C and he said he looked at the internals of the FoxNews poll and Obama is not getting the votes of the “over forty women”, who usually vote for the Dem candidate overwhelmingly.
I think we should be afraid of what would happen, if Obama becomes president, but also hopeful, that maybe we will be able to stop him — if we get out and vote for McCain.
Morris said Obama is leading among younger voters, but the big question is who will turn out and vote.
You were not alone in that. Many of us did that.
But, now we know better and can share our wisdom with the kids of today!!
We will not be able to undo the damage a democratic majority in all branches of government will do.
No vote, or a vote for Bob Barr is a vote for Obama. And believe me, people, the guilt is hard to live with!
Okay, so the over 40 women would love to see
HEATHER WILSON as vice President!!
Amen.
