ABC News ^ | 7/28/2008 | Unattributed

Posted on 07/28/2008 11:03:21 AM PDT by mojito

Syndicated Chicago Sun-Times columnist Robert Novak has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and is being treated in a Boston hospital. Novak issued a statement Monday saying the tumor was found Sunday after he'd been rushed to Brigham and Women's Hospital from Cape Cod, where he was visiting his daughter. Novak said he was suspending his journalistic work for an indefinite, "but God willing, not too lengthy period." His statement did not say if the tumor was malignant. Last week, Novak was given a $50 citation after he struck a homeless man with his black Corvette in Washington. Novak kept going until he was stopped by a bicyclist. Novak is the former host of "Crossfire." He was the first to publicly reveal the name of CIA operative Valerie Plame.

Explains last week’s accident and why he couldn’t remember hitting that guy. Could have been a very brief black-out.

"He (Novak) was the first to publicly reveal the name of CIA operative Valerie Plame."

Idiots! She was a desk analyst, not an "operative" and hadn't been one for years. She "outed" herself at cocktail parties too numerous to mention, btw.

Cell phones and concentrations of RF in metro areas are to blame.

Prayer to Saint Peregrine

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you.

For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you, especialy Robert Novak.

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.

Amen

I understand the need for a short, quick, informative bio in an announcement such as this; but somebody refresh my memory please. When the MSM first announced that Ted Kennedy had a brain tumor, did they end their announcement with, "When he was a junior Seantor, he drove his car off a bridge with a young campaign worker inside the vehicle, leaving her to drown."

Maybe they did, but I just don't recall reading that.

*snort* I never read anything about that in any of the stories that I saw.

When I was growing up, there was a kid in the neighborhood who was nicknamed "Tricky," because he was anything but. Maybe that's what we should call the MSM.

“Ted! Ted! I’m..I’m pregnant. What are we gonna do?”

“Now, now, Mary Jo. Don’t you worry your little head...”

“But..But...when your wife finds out...”

“Well, I guess we’ll just have to cross that bridge when we come to it.”

They also neglected to add that Kennedy offered to help the Kremlin against Ronald Reagan.

My mother had a similar condition in 1986. Must have been the flouride in the water then.
