Very biblical show to start with tonite and are-run of the autism interview. He will be proven right on the autism thing, IMHO.
My week has been uneventful. I actually got an email from someone on youtube claiming to be a cooking editor for the BBC asking me if I would do a post a video on how to carve a turkey! LOL! He needed it this week! LOL! Gotta be kidding me!!
You know how long it takes to bake a turkey?!?! Then once you film that entire process, you have to edit it. Besides, my trusty videographer,filmeditor, etc. is going backpacking this weekend. There’s no way it would have worked out. LOL!
I asked him to send me a copy of his collaboration. We’ll see what comes of it. LOL!
Regarding the autism thing, it’s the sound bite that causes all his problems. His point was clear to anyone listening - autism is overdiagnosed. That’s not a very obscure or unusual position - Dr Sowell, for example, wrote a couple of articles about that a while back.
It’s just that people are so used to get thing their sensibilities indulged and humored that they just can’t cope with an oppising position.
Savage is right about autism, though his quote is not literally accurate. I stand with Savage nonetheless!

Well, he is more reasoned in his language, but makes the same points that Doc Savage does. Hope the Doc saw the column.

Amazing when Rush, had his little tiff with Michael J. Fox everyone came to his aid but when it comes to Savage everyone is ready to feed him to the wolves.

I dunno how big Dr. Sowell’s audience is, but not very, I would guess. I’ll bet he agreed with Rush on the michael Fox thing, too.

Well, I was just speaking in terms of intellectual firepower and credibility. One can seldom go wrong when one is on the same page as Dr Sowell.
Just saying that Dr. Sowell doesn’t reach as many people, though he should. Should be in charge of economic policy for the nation.

I just found out a young lady I know is getting a divorce, her marriage lasting a little over a year.
Well, seems that when the nuptials were happening I was part of a betting pool as to how long it would last (several guys in her family were in the pool). Well, it came out that not only did I bet on her marriage failing, but I won about $900.
So now she is mad at me. But to be fair, not only was I right, but I won.
Does this make me the bad guy she makes me out to be?
Slip her fifty bucks and tell her to be grateful it wasn’t a death pool. ;-)
