House Republicans are still there, raising cain- trying to get them to turn the lights back on and continue debating over drilling!!!

I just called and said "There's a Republican revolt going on int the House Chamber and I wasn't seeing much coverage of it." I got a run around on it. Was told several times "There are no cameras on now. Cameras are not allowed." I objected, politely, that the story could still be covered.
He seemed mildly irritated that I would question that and asked if I wanted to talk to (name garbled) and I said yes. Got a phone tree that led to leaving a recorded message. I did...
"There's a Republican revolt going on in the House Chamber. I understand that the cameras are turned off. You can still cover the story. Thank you."
I called my Dim representative and told him this is no time for a vacation. It’s time to vote on drilling!

I just called Rep Boehner’s number, spoke to a really nice man. He was excited, I told him people across the country support what those few Republican representatives are doing. He wanted to know what state I’m from and kept telling me thank you.

My local congress critters office assures me they are’nt going on vacation. They are just coming home to take care of local matters..... I told him they won’t be there to take care of the problem and to me thats a vacation.
