CSPAN has shut down coverage of the House. The lights have been turned out.
House Republicans are still there, raising cain- trying to get them to turn the lights back on and continue debating over drilling!!!

I just called and said "There's a Republican revolt going on int the House Chamber and I wasn't seeing much coverage of it." I got a run around on it. Was told several times "There are no cameras on now. Cameras are not allowed." I objected, politely, that the story could still be covered.
He seemed mildly irritated that I would question that and asked if I wanted to talk to (name garbled) and I said yes. Got a phone tree that led to leaving a recorded message. I did...
"There's a Republican revolt going on in the House Chamber. I understand that the cameras are turned off. You can still cover the story. Thank you."

Whoever put that list of Fox news phone numbers together did a great thing. I called “John Moody, Sen VP News Phone: 212-301-8560” and actually GOT him and asked why the story wasn’t on the web. He was caught off guard I think but handled it well to say that they have given the story air time (we don’t get TV so I’m guessing they did) and likely it would make the web soon.

I just called all the offices for the Republican reps from the state of GA. Reps, Lynn A. Westmoreland and Tom Price were on still on the floor ... I told the staff how much I appreciated them fighting for us, I told them I had a 60 mile a day commute and with 3 kids at home these gas prices were killing us... I told them to keep it up and Hopefully AMERICAN people will see what is going on and will do something about it come NOVEMBER!!!
