Petreaus will soon take over in the ‘ghan...I think we will see things get progressively very inhospitable to these miscreants.
where on earth do these fools go to j-school?
Thanks!
I’m talking bout the One, but the spanish one was good too.
nice catch
Are you posting on this thread by mistake?
If not, mightn't you take it to private mail or start your own thread???
(As someone who has had family fighting on that hellish border for the past year and a half, I may be a bit sensitive to this thread being used for non-related chatter.)
That thought crossed my mind too but - two things: It's way over 100 degrees there and about as unsanitary as it gets.
He may have been injured in a previous 'door yard call" a few weeks ago when he was the prime target, and he's just not healing well.
Whatever and whichever, may this be true and that the next news will be even better.
Bump Dat!...;0)
Sorry. We digressed and then digressed from our earlier digression. But we eventually stopped. I apologize for getting chatty. This is great news if true, and I’m very encouraged by all the great news from Iraq as well. I wish our brave soldiers, including those near and dear to you, Godspeed and the very best of luck. They are heros.
It all depends on the severity of the injuries of course if this report this true and I greatly hope it is. Please remember that terrorists who got injured are most likely to die if the injury is in a critical part of the body because they do not have access to any advanced or even moderate medical care. I think they may survive minor injuries and injuries to arms and legs but most other injuries will most likely lead to their death.
I am sure you’d know best, but I have to say that as resilient as the human body is, if you get a wound even half as serious you describe and you’re located in some remote jackwater uncivilized wasteland like Waziristan — you’re boned to the max and there isn’t jack squat anyone can do for your sorry ass.
LOL
Good
He didn't always have the spot. Here he is in 1982, ranting in English from an Egyptian cage:
I'm thinking this Lara Logan is the CBS reporter who is causing problems with sleeping around with other "journalists" and military guys in Iraq. Love triangle stuff.
Also this week, there were reports that a U.S. airstrike in Pakistan on Monday may have killed al Qaeda bomb-making and poisons expert Abu Khabab al-Masri, who was previously reported killed in 2006.
This is great! We get to kill these suckers over and over again. "Cowards die many times before their deaths. The valiant never taste of death but once." William Shakespeare, "Julius Caesar," Act 2, Scene II. The full speech:
CAESAR
Cowards die many times before their deaths;
The valiant never taste of death but once.
Of all the wonders that I yet have heard.
It seems to me most strange that men should fear;
Seeing that death, a necessary end,
Will come when it will come.
It always seemed telling to me that AQ founders and leaders like Zawahiri and bin Laden do everything possible to avoid death, while preaching to their followers that paradise and 72 virgins await jihadists doing Mohammed's supposed bidding.
Shakespeare's Ceasar had it exactly right. Such men are COWARDS. They will die many times before their deaths.
Senator Obama declared, “this is not the same Ayman Al Zawahiri I knew, I am very disappointed.” s/
Apply all dressings with bacon bandages..
May the face of each of the 3,000 victims of September 11, 2001 pass before him while he is in physical agony before death.
I know I can picture three of them.
