Believe me one of the victim Dad was all over TV through out the years waiting for this day. After seeing his anger I would rather see this POS release from prison ONLY to the custody of the victims father. I think the POS would rather choose the lethal injection.

My understanding is that the governor can NOT do anything to prevent an execution other than issue a temporary stay (and I believe that’s a one-time deal).
Board of Pardons and Paroles has the only say in the matter. It’s set up that way for a reason.
Jose Ernesto Medellin, 33, was due to be executed by lethal injection at 2300 GMT in the state of Texas. He was convicted of the 1993 rape and murder of two teenagers and is one 51 Mexican nationals on death row in the United States.
