I was asking rhetorically. I went to Catholic schools all my life. There were more than a few non-Catholics and plenty of non-practicing Catholics in my HS.
Just what were they doing??? You seem to have some inside info, lets have all of it. It sounds more to me like the kid was set up. Family member of a friend???? Evidence at the scene of the car jacking???????? Couldn’t start the car with the keys??????? No, something stinks here.

I know folks on the block. The essence of what’s known there is that he brought in a friend who got scared by going too far, and talked too much. No set up. As for the family, they’re in denial. The father’s been hauled in for using fake docs to procure weapons for the kid, and the mother is in complete denial. Effed up, but no conspiracy, no terrorism, and no muzzies.
My concern on this thread is that it bothers me so when people see ghosts in every corner.

White Flint is actually located in Rockville, Maryland. All the surrounding businesses have Rockville mailing addresses. However, “Rockville” doesn’t sound very prestigious compared to fancier nearby towns like the famous Bethesda, and this is a mall designed and built for the purpose of prestige: its clientel consists of people of middle-class tastes who happen to be getting rich, or borderline rich, or are trying to appear rich. Therefore, the appearance of prestige is important, so White Flint management claims that it is in “North Bethesda.” This is a common affectation in our area. It is actually some miles north of Bethesda and there really is no town of “North Bethesda”, but whatever. In this article it has been transplanted to Kensington, another suburb a few miles away. People are strange.
