BEREA, Ohio (AP) -- A man who wore press credentials and took photographs from a platform interrupted Barack Obama's town-hall meeting Tuesday by shouting complaints that the Democratic presidential candidate had not called for the audience to say the Pledge of Allegiance.
Obama invited the heckler to lead the audience in the pledge, and he did.

Ohio Ping...okay who was the freeper who did this lol
Gave his name as John Q. Public.
Obama appears unable to lead, but seems willing to follow.
I saw the video clip of this.
Mr. Jerk did go ahead and say it,but quite obnoxiously.
I don’t think he meant a word of it.
LLS
Obama probably invited the heckler to lead the Pledge because Obama doesn’t actually know the words himself.
Like the phony faintings, look for this to occur at his next eight “townhall” meetings.

I wanted to make an art piece of Barack Obama because I thought an iconic portrait of him could symbolize and amplify the importance of his mission. I believe Obama will guide this country to a future where everyone can thrive and I should support him vigorously for the sake of my two young daughters. I have made art opposing the Iraq war for several years, and making art of Obama, who opposed the war from the start, is like making art for peace. I know I have an audience of young art fans and Im delighted if I can encourage them to see the merits of Barack Obama.

See? It's all about "peace, love, togetherness" and "change".
Here are some of Fairey's other masterpieces. No joke. Most of his works are along these same lines (anti-American, pro-communist propaganda). Check the link.

From a 'thank you' letter Barack Obama sent to Shepard Fairey:
"Dear Shepard, I would like to thank you for using your talent in support of my campaign. The political messages involved in your work have encouraged Americans to believe they can help change the status quo. Your images have a profound effect on people, whether seen in a gallery or on a stop sign.'"

Obviously a put up job, a paid heckler!
Spread the truth on Fairey and Obama!
Wow I did not know that. I saw the connection to the old politburo style, but had no idea.
He wasn’t a heckler! He complained that Barry Hussein did not start with the Pledge of Allegiance, but was not a heckler.
Spot on!
He was cleared to be in the press pool to film Obama. Job requirements did not include interrupting him. He either lied to SS, and SS did nothing once he interrupted Obama (I find this hard to believe), or he was cleared to be there by the campaign for a reason other than filming him.
I believe he complained as soon as the mtg started.
On the other hand I find it hard to believe that he was cleared to be in the press pool area, yet no one knows whom did he represent or where he worked.
I wondered if he was a plant.

Ohio Ping!
To be added to the Ohio Ping List, please freepmail (works best) both TonyRo76 and LasVegasDave.
It scares me that so many people are so stupid and will cast a vote for the jerk.
Same here, Shyla. People amaze me as well. I hope all is well with you. :-)
I so hope so.
Not a McCain fan but better than the Muslim by a long shot.
You’re right about that. He didn’t want to say it, and the tone of his voice bordered on snide, especially speaking to the guy afterwards.
I disagree. I think the guy is a real patriot. The kind that wants us to respect our traditions. Actually, I don’t think the guy supports either party. I got the impression watching YouTube that not only did he not buckle under the swarm of newscasters, but also, his anger when admonishing the one reporter about Roberts Rules procedures spoke more to his own family’s sacrifice for the country. I didn’t get any feel one way or another about a party.
Should Obama not only get the nomination but also win the election, what does this incident say about saying the Pledge in future? About his respecting our traditions of flag waving, etc.
yep, he was a disgrace.
hate to say it, but it would have been off that the Pledge wasn’t said at all. not the way he did it.
