Back in the fall of 71' I was taking a friend to the sorority house of Chi Omega at NTSU. The girl that answered the door in her house shoes and robe with a towel on her head was a lady named Phyllis George. I thought to myself, this is the college! Even the door girls are Miss Americas....NTSU with TWU next door...women to men ratio ten to one....like shooting ducks in a barrel...

Instead of playing football in high school, I should have gone out for cheerleading.
When I marched Drum Corps, we stayed at a school in Clay City, Ohio, where the team was the Eels. We all got quite a laugh out of that.

And call me crazy, but it frightens me to think that there might be more than one team of Eels out there, so that cheerleader guy in the pic better be going to school in Ohio.
