DOI’s estimate of the amount of recoverable oil in Green Hills formation is probably more than a factor of three lower than what will eventually be recovered from it.

I have seen estimates of over 2 Trillion Barrels in the Green Hills shale. The original estimate for Prudhoe Bay was 3-5 Billion barrels. Then years later it was bumped to 10 billion barrles. So far Prudhoe Bay has yield 15 billion barrels. Now they say ANWR has 10 billion barrles ...
For once, I would like to know what are we waiting for?
