Mexican soldiers allegedly held Arizona BP agent captive (act of war?)
KGBT4 ^ | August 06, 2008 | Unattributed

The U.S. Border Patrol agent's union reported that Mexican soldiers crossed into U.S. territory and held an agent captive at gunpoint during a Sunday night incident.

The National Boder Patrol Council Local 2544 in Tuscon reported on its website that reported that the incident occured near Ajo, Arizona.

The union website reported that the soldiers returned to Mexico without further incident after reinforcements arrived to confront them.

It's not clear why Mexican soldiers were on U.S. territory but union officials said in their website that Mexican soldiers have been known to protect Mexican drug gangs and migrant smugglers.

"Unfortunately, this sort of behavior by Mexican military personnel has been going on for years," Union Local 2544 of the National Border Patrol Council said on its Web page. "They are never held accountable, and the United States government will undoubtedly brush this off as another case of, 'Oh well, they didn't know they were in the United States.' "

The union website said Tuscon Sector agents were grateful that the incident ended without gunfire but reserving further comment on the issue until agency leaders handle the situation.

And they just keep walking across our borders into our country -— thanks again Washington, DC for NOT DOING YOUR JOB.

Excuse my words, but you’re damned right it’s an act of war. Where’s General Pershing when we need him?

the United States government will undoubtedly brush this off as another case of, ‘Oh well, they didn’t know they were in the United States.’ “

maybe a clearly marked border would help the hapless mex soldiers ...

... like a fence.

If the Mexican military starts coming home in body bags, the rest will check their GPS’s a little closer.

I would check for a large drug shipment in that area. The Mexican army had to keep the border agent busy to provide cover.

It may be time for another mexican American War only this time we’ll hold onto the land we take and politely ask the residents of the expanded border to pack it on south (No more Senator Salazars). The Hidalgo Guadalope treaty drove us back to the current boundaries although we had driven them to mexico City. Our chief negotiater gave away the Baja Peninsula although the president explicitly forbade him to do that.

See ... the Gov will go full combat gear SWAT team with tricked out AR’s against one pencil-neck geeky white guy who’s practicing Mormonism 1800’s style but they won’t dare touch Mexican troops entering the country with a ten foot pool!

I would consider this an “act of war”!! These are miitary troops confronting a US federal agent on US soil!! Now WE need troops at the borders to protect our BP agents!!

>>”Bush’s worst legacy.”<<

As well as America’s.

Where is Bush? Oh, I forgot, he’s in China smooching Communist behinds. So many butts to kiss, so little time. Nothing will be said about this by the MSM or our President upon his return.

The U.S. citizenry should be in an uproar and march on D.C. DEMANDING THAT BUSH FOLLOW HIS OATH OF OFFICE PLUS RELEASE RAMOS AND CAMPEAN.....TODAY! All it would take is for him to make one simple phone call and they’d be home for dinner.

I guess that wouldn’t fit into the GLOBALIST AGENDA set forth by the ‘greater’ powers, i.e., Tri-Lats, CFR, UN, One World government big wigs, etc. Bush is a puppet to them all, as was Clinton and Daddy Bush.

We’re screwed in ‘08.

Right. Because as things stand now, if one of the BP agents shot a Mexican soldier, the BP agent would be sent to jail for 10 years.

The Baja (including CABO !!!!!) would make a good 51st state, if we could clean out the 3rd world attitude from the place first.

Wrong. If you shoot a drug smuggler you go to jail for ten years. Shooting a Mexican soldier(if there is even a difference), will probably get you life!

Time for Congress to get OUT of the oil business and back IN the business of protecting this country from enemies foreign and domestic — starting with themselves.

I was going to post the same thing before I saw your post.

Good ‘le Blackjack was also the mentor to a young Lt. Patton. We could use another Blackjack today, but our gutless politicians continue to do nothing.
