Congressman wants to bring up “Paris Hilton plan”
CNN ^ | 8/7/08

CAPITOL HILL (CNN) — The lines between celebrity and politician blurred into a haze Thursday at a Republican news conference, as one congressman began pushing Paris Hilton's “plan” on energy.

"Let's bring up the Paris Hilton plan," goaded Rep. Michael Burgess, R-Texas.

Burgess and his fellow Republicans are in day five energy speeches on the House floor, despite the fact that the chamber is closed for August recess. They're trying to pressure House Speaker Nancy Pelosi into holding a vote on offshore oil drilling.

Keeping the pressure on is all well and good, but leave this dimwit ho out of it.

Oh that’ll never work! Washington DC has become less about getting things done and more about not doing what the other guys wants so he can pound his chest for display about how bad the other guy is.

Oh, I don’t know... Looks like Paris’ plan is more ambitious than either Obama or McCain.

I think Paris Hilton should sit on my lap and we can talk about what comes up.

Doesn’t matter. The point is, this bottom 2 sigma chick has seen (at least in the ad) what 75% of Americans see. The all of the above plan is what is needed. Drill, nuclear, wind, etc. etc.

"keeping the pressure on"? That sounds a lot like Obama's plan. Only he wants us to keep the pressure *in*. :)

INFLATE HERE, INFLATE NOW!

Paris Hilton makes a pretty good living independent of her family money. She has greater experience and more success in free market capitalism than Obama does. She does not advocate surrender to terrorists and she does not loath the military. She does not attend a church with a racist America hating pastor and she does not hang around with 1960’s radical domestic terrorists.

With Paris, what you see is what you get. Not so with Obama. Plus, Paris does not go ballistic if someone pokes fun at her. All in all, I like her better than I do Obama and she is way easier on the eyes.

If the choice was between Obama and Paris, it would be no contest. Paris all the way. Between Paris and McCain, I would need to know more about Paris’s stance on global warming, taxes, and terrorism.

Actually Paris Hilton has a far better plan than Obama and perhaps better than the ANWR-resistant McCain. Here is her plan:

Drill Here, Drill Now so that you have the time and money to:

Develop the Alternative Energy fuels loved by the Libs.

In case anyone missed it you can see "The Truth About ANWR" on Youtube right here:

The Truth About ANWR on YouTube

The link to this video was first posted on Free Republic about a month ago and has already had nearly 12,000 views. It is currently running just under 1000 views per day. You will love it if you want to drill in ANWR. Treehuggers will hate it.

So what’s the Paris Hilton Plan?

“Drill Paris Here. Drill Paris Now. Pay Paris Less.”?

I agree with you. I don’t know why people are so hard on her except it is easy? They don’t do that to young men who kick up their heels on their way to being successful businessmen.

Her video was a riot even if she didn’t write it.

since the MSM is like totally ignoring the Republicans now protesting in the dark House of Representatives, asking her to come and join them, would be brilliant, the MSM would have to cover it.

Reality doesn’t matter. Perception is what matters.

The Hilton gambit shouldbe spun to a winning position. It is to older people a joke but to many young people it can be a voice of realaity interjected into a very boring campaign.

That what spinners are for....... make lemonade

Amen. You said/expressed every word for me. Thank you.

If she runs for president, and I was not going to vote, I would vote for her, though. As you stated, she is easier on the eyes.

Also, she is not a liar like the rest (OB, Hillary, McNut). She may be everything else, but not a political liar.

(Maybe we can bump her age up a tad by offering a re-tooled CoLB.)

It is pretty funny that Paris Hilton supports drilling...

But, perhaps that’ll play with the public well...
