Racist Groups Eye Boost If Obama Elected

PEARL, Miss. -- They're not exactly rooting for him, but prominent white supremacists anticipate a boost to their cause if Barack Obama becomes the first black president.

Former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke, of Louisiana, said Democrat Obama would be a "visual aid" to the idea that whites have lost control of America.

So you want to throw down the hatchet and talk about which party can claim the mantle of moral superiority on race relations? Go for it.

LOL! I’m guessing that the number of members of these racist hate groups could meet in a med. sized town hall somewhere in a small town. In other words, there ain’t that many of them, but I’m sure they LOVE having this press all out of proportion to their actual relevance.

Don't even go there. Both sides have their skeletons in the closet with respect to race relations whether you're talking about Indiana Republicans in the 1920's or Alabama Democrats in the 1960's under Gov. George C. Wallace.

Democrats won't admit their complicity in Jim Crow, and yet have the audacity to rub the GOP's nose in it.
