Unfortunately, if her condition is terminal as reported, she won't be around to enjoy it. Sad.
And ABC News is also reporting he denies the child is his and the affair had previously ended. (If so why did you go visit her this summer, John??)
Terminal doesn’t necessarily mean her demise is coming soon, though. For example, my mother had the same condition, with the cancer going to areas where it could not be eliminated, but with treatment, lived for another 15 years. My mother, unlike Ms. Edwards, was older, needed two hip replacements, and ultimately died of an infection due to kidney disease. The cancer was terminal in the sense that she still had it, but it did not kill her, despite all of the years that passed.
