This could be a key to the case. Legally, he’s not the father since his name isn’t on the birth certificate. So maybe when he said he’s not the father, he took a page out of Bill Clinton’s parsing of language playbook. Legally speaking, apparently nobody is the father of the baby.

I really thing Ms. Edwards has too much class to leave. No one knows how long Elizabeth has, so it is best to keep her family together for the sake of the kids so they are close to their father.

If she wanted to set a good example for her children, and especially her daughters; she would toss him out of the house and divorce him. Teaching girls that this is tolerable behavior does then a disservice.
