I’m praying the Muslim Messiah’s dirty laundry gets exposed; every last shred including the dirt on his shrew.

They never picked it up in the first place.

They were too busy carrying water.

Didn’t someone at the time accuse the N.Y. slimes of giving the National Enquirer a bad name?

Liberal control of the media should scare the crap out of all of us. America better wake up before we are all controlled by our dictator master and the media tell us how much we have to be thankful for...

Control the media...Control the country. Have we learned nothing from Communism and Pravda?

Did the MSM drop the ball on John Edwards?

Wrong analogy. What they did is stand in a pack with their backs outward, eyes clenched shut, hands over their ears, humming loudly to drown out any stray sound that might break through to their consciousness.

“bitten by a Komodo Dragon and was married to Sharon Stone.”

How could you tell the difference?

Did anyone notice, Edwards is not identified by party.

The important part of this is that campaign money could have been improperly used by hiring her. Was she hired for her skill to the campaign or for her relationship to John Edwards? That is a question that should be investigated.

If Edwards backers paid for her support to keep her quiet to benefit his campaign - does that not also represent an illegal campaign contribution?

Finally, in our welfare society establishment of paternity is particularly important. The father is obligated to support the child and not the state. Given that he had an affair and the woman became pregnant, it becomes society’s business to ensure that the paternity is established.

It appears the MSM still has a double standard when it comes to doing these stories (aggressive when an R is involved and sitting on their hands when a D is involved). The best comparison is Jack Ryan in Illinois. The media had his sealed divorce decree opened up so that they could report on his relationship with his ex-wife (which did not involve abuse but his desire to engage in “swingers” activities with his wife). The divorce had been sealed and neither party wanted it open. It did not involve Jack Ryan’s campaign in anyway, and the decree had been sealed to protect the daughter.

“For what it’s worth, Bronstein was once bitten by a Komodo Dragon and was married to Sharon Stone.”

Sharon paid for him to meet the dragon for his Birthday. They recommended that he take off his shoes (why I can’t be sure). He was wearing white athletic socks. The dragon’s main dietary item was white mice. Get the picture?

The Komodo does a better job of keeping its legs together.

Wolf Blitzer, in full Clinton News network mode, just said “technically he did not lie because there were falsehoods in the national enquirer story”

Isn’t there a pattern here?
“it depends on what the meaning of is is”

Reading between the lines, Blitzer’s statement reduces to: “it depends on what the mean of lie is”

I don’t think so. The article with Edwards name attached appeared in October, 2007. Hillary took him out because he was even or ahead in Iowa caucus. Johnboy quit the race January 30, 2008.

Liberals make a point of denying the importance and gravity of traditional morality. It is part of their secular humanist anti-Christian agenda. Violating the marriage oath is a rite of passage for them.

“Heck, I don’t understand why families stay there.”

What does a “family” mean there? Probalby not what many of us have in mind.

Also, they think it provides cover for their many promiscuous leaders to pretend that sexual immorality is no big deal. Clinton, Edwards, Barney Frank- they used to say “live boy or dead girl”, but Franks and Fat Teddy put paid to even that.

I am certain the National Enquirer was not the first news outlet to know about Edwards and likely this story was known by some in the MSM perhaps as long ago as 2006. The MSM chose to ignore the story because Edwards is a liberal elitist and more recently the MSM has been preoccupied with deifying Obama.

The story only got traction when the Equirer's story was corroborated by others and picked up in the foreign press. Had it not been for the existence of the new media where hush ups of such things are no longer possible, this story would have remained hidden no different than JFK's affairs were in the 1960's
