The mainstream media's reaction to the National Enquirer's reports on John Edwards' "love child" scandal has been reminiscent of the Soviet press. Edwards' name has simply been completely whitewashed out of the news. Say, why isn't anyone talking about John Edwards for vice president anymore? No, seriously –- hey! Why are we going to a commercial break?

The same press suing for the “right” to print pictures of dead soldiers coming home are now quietly accepting this blackout.

The NYSlimes will put 8 journalist, for a year, on a story to expose a secret CIA activity, or run a front page story about John McCain’s “alleged” mistress...but not a word about Edwards.
I commented when this story first started to trickle out through the cracks that the MSM can't control, If Romney or Huckabee had an affair it would be front page/top story until after the convention. Democrat scandals just aren't news in their book.

We were taught during the Clinton years that democrats cannot be held to any moral standard because, well, it ain’t on their platform.
How true. Investigative reporting is shifted into high gear whenever conservatives are involved but the MSM is very protective of those in their own party. The most glaring malfeasance and hypocracy in the country IS the MSM itself.
Edward's lip lump used to bug me to no end, however, Obama's pronunciation of words ending with an 's' creates a whistle that's very distracting. He should get a dentist to carve off whatever's causing it.
Dick Durbin actually claimed this morning on FNS that what Mark Foley did (send instant messages) was worse than Edwards actually commiting adultery. This takes the Dems’ ability to indulge in moral relativism to a new high (low?)
Well, it is certainly obvious for all to see who is prepared for the picture to be taken. He is prepared, ready and waiting, even if the others are not. His teen daughter is also prepared but this isn’t about her.
