Yes, that is the dilemma, is it not? It's all about oil, and who controls the spigot. Russia has been making that abundantly clear. The Georgia pipeline allows the Russian control to be subverted, and oil shipped to Europe without the Russia Mafia tax. Russia plans on regrowing the Soviet Empire with oil as the financing arm. With Jimmy Carter's new improved foreign policy, America should be fine.

Yeah, I saw it that way to ... Bush was probably trying to talk Putin out of attacking Georgia, but failed, so deploy and work the phones. I wonder what security arrangement we have with Georgia, after they helped greatly with Afghanistan, something had to have been signed to help them in the event the bears came.
