From the Houston Chronicle:
The wife of Republican Rep. Ron Paul was in serious but stable condition Monday at a Houston hospital, a spokesman for the congressman said.
Carol Paul was in the critical care unit at an unidentified hospital, spokesman Jesse Benton said in a statement.
There is more to life than politics, folks. Mrs. Paul is one of the most gracious people I’ve ever met. Please keep her and Ron in your prayers.

I don’t believe I have ever had anything good to say about Ron Paul however I don’t believe in kicking a man when he’s down.
I wish Mrs Paul a speedy recovery.

Thanks for posting this information regarding Mrs. Paul.
I have great respect for Mr. Paul who, regardless of what others say, is a true gentleman who has served this nation very well.
With a 100% ACU voting record....he is, indeed a winner.
Our prayers for his wife.

Not really the time and place for politics, but you may want to check your information on the ACU voting rating
. However, if you want, we can continue this on another thread, this one isn't the place for politics.

I’ve met Mrs. Paul. Got to spend quite a bit of time talking with her once. She’s a very nice lady, and very devoted to her husband.
Praying for her, Dr. Paul, and their whole family.

Best wishes to Mrs. Paul for a speedy recovery.
Hopefully Rep. Paul will not pull a John Edwards and will stay by his wife’s side instead of continuing his vanity campaign.

From what I've read about Carol, she would be very disappointed if Ron skips out on the big party in a few weeks.

What vanity campaign?
It’s clear that Dr. Paul will do the right thing after 50 years of marriage.

Read post 35. RP has a cult to lead. As I said before, I would hope he puts his wife before his own ambitions, but given that this wasn’t the first of her serious health problems (multiple surgeries), he hasn’t done that this past year or so since he has been campaigning around the country, not too different than John Edwards.
