Barack Obama is running for President as… well, Barack Hussein Obama. That’s his legal name, right?
Or is it.
There is now evidence indicating that his actual valid Birth Certificate on file in Hawaii says Barry Soetoro. That was the Indonesian identity that Obama acquired when Lolo Soetoro adopted him. His original Birth Certificate, presumably in the name Barack Hussein Obama, was sealed. That’s our theory.
It seems that Obama put a fake Birth Certificate on his official campaign website because he wanted to hide his Indonesian identity from us, including his Muslim background and that pesky Constitutional dual-citizenship matter. That is our assertion.
And we believe that Barry Soetoro started using the name “Obama” sometime in the 70’s, it would seem.
BUT, interestingly, our researchers have been unable to locate the public record showing that Barry Soetoro legally changed his name back to Barack Obama. Sure, he could have used his original birth certificate (the one that was sealed) in the name “Obama” as an identity document over the years, and no one would have known…(didnt he say that he found that in a shoe box in high school?)
But what is Obama’s official, legal name? Is it the name he used to sign his candidacy papers for the President? Is it the one which will be on the ballot for the Democratic party nomination in Denver this month? Is it the one that will be on the ballot for President in all the states this November? Is it the one he used to enroll in private schools?
Or is it the name he used to travel to Pakistan?
Is his legal name Barack Obama, or Barry Soetoro?
Hawaii State Law says this:
NOTICE OF CHANGE OF NAME:
After the Lt. Governor signs the Notice, the Notice will be returned to the Petitioner for publication in a newspaper of general circulation, as required by Statute. Petitioner should take or mail the Notice to the newspaper of his/her choice with applicable publication fee..
You’d think it would be easy to find a paper trail; name changes in Hawaii are public record after all.
I am not an elections expert by any means, but surely there must be laws requiring a candidate for public office to use his/her real legal name on the ballot. Is that something that is determined state by state? Perhaps it’s time for another communication to your Secretary of State.

I cannot verify the authenticity of the following I thought it was worthy of publication here. Please keep in mind the facts as presented here have not been verified:
Senator Barrack Obama was invited to address a major gathering of the American Indian Nation two weeks ago in upstate New York. He spoke for almost an hour on his future plans for increasing every Native American's present standard of living, should he one day become the President. He referred to his career as a senator, how he had signed 'yes' for every Indian issue that came to his desk for approval.
Although the Senator was vague on the details of his plan, he seemed most enthusiastic about his future ideas for helping his 'red sisters and brothers'.
At the conclusion of his speech, the tribes presented the Senator with a plaque inscribed with his new Indian name - Walking Eagle. The proud senator then departed in his motorcade, waving to the crowds.
A news reporter later inquired to the group of chiefs of how they came to select the new name had given to the Senator. They explained that 'Walking Eagle' is the name given to a bird so full of oomgalagala it can no longer fly.

This guy just smells. A sealed birth certificate? Fake birth certificates? What else would he lie about or hide from the American people, in good, standard liberal socialist fashion? Obama’s is definitely hiding something, and I would think it would be a crime to forge an official state document, and an offical Obama website has it posted. This story in the article is an interesting theory that has some merit, but it is still mostly speculation. There is definitely something strange going on here.
Second letter in the surname is an “o”, not an “a”.
She’s a Hillary supporter and, like many women who support HRC, feels HRC’s been scammed by the Obama, DailyKos and Soros folks. So anything that comes out of this can’t be laid at the feet of right-wing conspirators.

First things first, his mother was an American citizen therefore he is an American no matter where he was born. Why would the name Soetoro be on his birth certif if he was adopted 6 years later after his mother married this guy? Soetoro is Indonesian and doesn’t look black or anything like The Dali-Obama. I think this is a wild goose chase.

barrysoetoro.com does indeed point to McCain's website. But I don't think that you can extend that fact to infer that McCain is the owner of barrysoetoro.com. I've seen no evidence of that.
I would like to see if his name was changed in college while studying Malcolm X. I'm sure people would be interested in his need to have a Muslim name by choice instead of by birth.
Surely he had to produce a BC to get on the ballots of some states.

I agree. That is exactly why I thought he has gone to Hawaii. He needs to do a little “cleaning up” of the paperwork there. Doing so would acknowledge that the Obama campaign gives these allegations credence. From their perspective, the birth certificate we've seen is legitimate. Why would they bother to respond to what is, frankly, internet speculation based on no real evidence?

Whatever he wants it to be. All you have to do to change your name is start using a new one. That’s it. You can go to court if you like, but it’s not required. Everyone has a common law right to be called whatever they like, and as long as you’re not using your new name to defraud, it’s simply a matter of using it habitually.
BTW - the fake COLB is posted on Obama’s own “fight the smears” site and is hosted on his official campaign server.

It does, but what he may be doing is having his site forward to the John McCain site and keeping his site’s URL as the one you see. I can do this with my website.
Also, I just went to the “bs” site and it stalled due to traffic but in the lower left side of my browser it indicated that the link was forwarding to johnmcain.com
So McCain may not have sponsored the site.
Like another poster said, there probably is more of this going on during this “vacation” in Hawaii. A convenient time to clean up paperwork. Wonder why he may have to do this in person?
We’ve seen cartoons of Obama in terrorist garb, a picture of him dressed as a muslim, and even photo-shopped comparisons with Che...is someone out there able to offer one of BHO as “Walking Eagle?” I think there could be a funny picture of Obama, with wings/feathers/warpaint, etc. and wearing a “loaded” suit (if you get my drift), complete with indications of fumes! Anyone capable? Could be a new image for an ad! Maybe Texasdarlin who is doing such a good job knows someone...
I'm pretty sure TexasDarlin is a Clinton operative. IMHO, this whole site and all the info on it is the last gasp of the Clintons to panic the superdelegates just before the convention. It may be entirely false, given the folks they work for.

Actually, if he was not born on US soil, if he was born in Canada or somwhere else not in the US (and his mother was a radical loose cannon flower child who might have dopne something likw this), because his father was foreign citizen and his mother was only 18, she alone would not qualify to confer him with US citzenship, because it requires that she have lived 5 years in the US after the age of 16. Complicated, but criteria explained in plain language. If his birth was out of the US, then that would be reflected on his original sealed birth certificate.

The depth of knowledge on display in Barry Obama’s undergraduate thesis is of particular interest because he was wrong about a crucial Kennedy-Khrushchev conference, and about the diplomatic history between America and the Soviets.
How likely is it that someone would lose his senior thesis — particularly someone who thought his life was compelling enough that he would write an autobiography just a few years later?
