Remember the Jeep Jihadi who attempted to mow down students at UNC-Chapel Hill in the name of Allah two years ago in a botched attempt to “avenge the deaths of Muslims around the world”?

He finally pleaded guilty this morning to nine counts of attempted first-degree murder.

Hat tip - Bob Owens.

Reminder:

A suspect who is accused of hitting students with a sport utility vehicle at the University of North Carolina made his first court appearance Monday.

Mohammad Taheri-azar, a 2005 UNC-Chapel Hill graduate, smiled and waved before his hearing Monday. Taheri-azar told the courtroom that he was “thankful for the opportunity to spread the will of Allah.”

And with this attack, and others like it, I don't for one second buy the, "No attacks since 9/11" meme.

They are here. They are plotting. And they WILL strike again.

Evidently it’s the will of Allah that he go to jail for a very long time. Doubtless he’ll make many new friends there.

I am shocked. The American justice system actually doing its job against a Muslim radical criminal.

I think 9 sentences of 20 years each, served consecutively of course, sounds about right. He can 'jihad' from a North Carolina prison for the rest of his worthless life.

Some punk judge in the People’s Republic of Chapel Hill will probably give him a suspended sentence. After all, nobody died, and he thought he was doing the right thing, and he’s a poor, oppressed minority with his own cultural standards ...

"Doubtless he’ll make many new friends there."

Actually, my understanding is that a lot of jihad recruitment takes place in prisons - and he may simply become a recruiter. :^(

Taheri-azar told the courtroom that he was “thankful for the opportunity to spread the will of Allah.”

And that you did...'killing, or trying to kill, infidels since 650 AD'...

If he hadn't plead 'guilty' they'd have said, "it's OK, we believe you - you can go on your merry jidadi way!"

As it is, he gave them no choice.

And I'm sure Hollywood will make a movie portraying him as a victim, just wait.

Well they certainly would make a movie if he had actually killed a few American citizens. They would have been making hero T-shirts supporting him. Actually, I am surprised the ACLU was not there, filing a protest that his RELIGOUS RIGHTS had been violated since his religion says he should kill “non-believers” and he should have that right in America.

Now he'll get about 10 years to preach Islam to his cell mates.

Islam, like liberalism, is a disease that destroys the mind. Until we learn to prevent people from being exposed to it, especially from the time of birth and early childhood while the brain is growing and forming it's reasoning and rationalizing centers, we are fighting a loosing battle.

If you think about that thought it may be interesting to see how these terrorist Mooselimbs fare in prison.
Will this guy be sent to your normal everyday maximum lock up or will he get special treatment to “protect” his sorry rear or what?
Will any group identify and protect him there or hopefully he is terrorized forever more.
Just a thought.

Another incident to include on the list of domestic terrorist attacks since 9-11-2001. We’ve been assured that there have been zero. Every action has been called a “lone nut” action.

Just like global muslims claim that the terrorist cells are lone nuts with no connection to Islam.

In the same way that one can only be racist if one is white, one can only have culture if one isn’t white.

He’ll probably demand access to a prayer group whom he will meet with several times a day assuring him access to fellow travellers.

Well, as a Muslim he’ll probably fit right in.
