“we canot continue to rely on our military...we’ve got to have a national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded...”
would you like brown shirts or black shirts with that sir?
He certainly won't win on the basis of normal votes, but he has a track record of subverting the process and winning no matter what. He won his first election, a primary, by using a power-play tactic (challenging all the signatures on the nominating petitions of his opponents) at the last minute which left him essentially as the only candidate when people went to the polls. His opponents fought it in court, but of course by then it was too late for them.
In short, he really wants to win, and so do the folks surrounding him, and I don't think we should underestimate the lengths he will go to in order to achieve this.
This should serve as a warning not to underestimate BHo.

I wonder if Medved knows just how outraged O'Reilly is about people making such "ad hominum" attacks on the presidential candidates. /s (No matter how much he tries to defend Obama, he still hasn't been able get him on his show. I guess that clueless populist is just going to have to step up his attacks against "right-wingers").
I video-taped O'Reilly having a COW last night - (after he played a video clip of Rush talking about Obama's arrogance & aloofness, giving people the impression that he thinks he's better than everyone else, a clip of Mike Gallagher illustrating one of the reasons why he calls Obama a Socialist, & a clip of Glenn Beck illustrating one of the reasons he believes Obama to be a Marxist) - and, as usual, was incapable of understanding Ann Coulter's answers to his stupid, non-sequitur, questions.
O'Reilly objected to Ann focusing on his middle name by saying, "Barack HUSSEIN Obama" every time she speaks of him.
Ann asked him that if Cheney's middle name was "Haliburton", did he think the 'RATS wouldn't be calling him, "Dick HALIBURTON Cheney", and gave him other examples as well.
Anyhow, she wound up making the point that these references to Obama are accurate reflections of his background, radical beliefs, and character; they aren't "ad-hominums".
O'Reilly pretends that he doesn't get it, yet he is quite notorious for making ad-hominum attacks. Ding! Ding!
I watched O’Reilly arguing tonight that he doesn’t know what Obama really believes about anything. Now, I could believe this is true so far as the general public is concerned, and for two good reasons: 1) since the end of the primary fight, he has deliberatly drifted toward the center, and 2) he has not been a national figure for very long. But O’Reilly—who lives the news cycle—must be aware of Obama’s congressional voting record and economic platforms.
Obama will get away with concealing the extent of his socialism to the people. O’Reilly really ought to see through it.
