T-shirts saying "Jews forbidden from entering the park" were seen on sale on Tuesday.

PARIS - T-shirts carrying an anti-Semitic slogan referring to a Nazi-era Jewish ghetto in Poland were seen on sale Tuesday in a multi-ethnic district of Paris.
France's anti-Semitism watchdog alerted AFP to the women's T-shirts, printed with phrases in German and Polish which translate as "Jews forbidden from entering the park", in a store in the Belleville neighbourhood.
The inscriptions - "Juden eintritt in die parkanlagen verboten" in German, and "Zydom wstep do parku wzbronionyio" in Polish - are reproduced from 1940 banners targeting the Jews of Lodz, in central Poland.
Ninety-five percent of the 200,000 Jews who were held in the ghetto later died in concentration camps.
An AFP reporter found five of the grey, sleeveless woollen tops - labelled with the brand "Introfancy IF" - on sale early Tuesday, but when he returned shortly afterwards they had been withdrawn.
The sales assistant said they had just been bought by a single customer.
She added that she did not know the meaning of the inscriptions.
Sammy Ghozlan, head of the National Bureau of Vigilence Against Anti-Semitism (BNVCA), said he had filed a formal complaint with the Paris police.
“on sale Tuesday in a multi-ethnic district of Paris.”
France has, unfortunately, always been a country with a strong history of anti-semitism.
With the large “multi-ethnic” read “Muslim” population, this creates fertile ground for vile anti-semitism, right out of Nazi Germany.
Quelle honte!
Maybe time for a little crystalnacht part two.
POlease copy to your Ping List.
I guess the meaning of the writing is easy to translate, but why put it in Polish and German in France?
Vichy part two.
It seems the slogans were copied directly from vintage Nazi banners.
Nazis and neo-Nazis, be they German, Arab, or French, all speak the same language of hate.
Thanks Cincinna.
Marxists sew discord among peoples and are responsbile for sewing the seeds that have made anti-Semitic hate fashionable in our time.
Most assuredly they won’t. Obama will get somewhere between 60-65% at best.
BTTT
No, actually Belleville is genuinely multi-ethnic. It has a North African Muslim population (much smaller than you'd find elsewhere in the Paris area), but it also has large numbers of Chinese, Jews, black Africans (some of whom are Muslims, other aren't), Greeks, and a pretty sizable number of ethnic French as well.
I still don’t get why the Jewish population goes Democratic...do they understand the Dem’s platform.
I have never understood this and so far no one on any of the threads has ever been able to explain the thought process behind the Jewish vote.
Go figure!
This T-shirt is a disgrace and those who make, import, sell, or even wear them in France could IMHO be sued for “incitation to hatred” under French law - the same law that is sometimes branded here as an intolerable attack against freedom of speech.
Now yes, it is offensive, and the accusations of Vichyism, deep-seated anti-semitism are hardly a surprise. But I have to wonder : when I can buy Nazi memorabilia in the US, from SS camp guardians uniforms to large Nazi flags, where are the same cries of horror ?
I’ll take “What happens when the population of a Western country becomes higher than 10% Muslim” for $666, Alex.
