SAN FRANCISCO (Legal Newsline)-A John McCain presidency would be illegal because the Arizona senator was not born in the United States, says a lawsuit filed by the American Independent Party.
The minor party says it wants McCain's name removed from ballots in California because federal law would bar the former Vietnam War POW from taking office were he to be elected in November, according to the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in San Francisco.
Article II of the U.S. Constitution disqualifies McCain from assuming office because he was born in the Commonwealth of Panama in 1936, while his father was stationed at Coco Solo Naval Air Station in the Panama Canal Zone, the lawsuit contends.

Article II requires that you must be a natural born citizen of the United States. His parents were both US citizens, making him a natural born citizen. End of Story.
And what of his opponent, Captain Changeyhope, who has far LESS legal standing, with a non-citizen father. . .
Looks like they’re worried that McCain is going to win.
How about if someone files a lawsuit against Barack Hussein Obama for his lack of sanity!!!

Wouldn’t it be funny if both McCain and Obama were disqualified? Might as well get a laugh out of all this.
Doesn’t matter where he was born. Both of his parents are American, hence McCain is American by birth, not naturalization. End of story. The guys filing this suit are assclowns.
Aside from the fact, McCain was born to an active duty Naval officer on deployment, this was already decided in court, so bring it on. Only makes it easier and “fair” to demand the same disclosure from the other candidates in the race.

Like Kerry with his SF-180, Obama could settle the whole issue if he would release his true COLB from Hawaii. The fact that he hasn’t raises lots of questions.
This issue is sooooo stuuupid! The Panama Canal Zone was US Territory before the asshat clown Jimmy Carter gave it away with the Canal!!!
As long as your parents are both natural born American citizens you are a natural born American citizen no matter where you are born. At least that’s how I understand it. The Panama canal zone in 1936 was American territory anyways so its a moot point and the Senate already decided on this months ago.
Why don’t they start looking into the Messiah? He’s the one with a foreign national for a father and a questionable birthplace and birth certificate.
