Obama’s statement on the Georgian situation was wishy washy at best pure appeasement at worst. If he were president (God protect our Republic from that happening) in this situation he would be crawling to the UN for help and issuing milk toast statements so as not to offend the Russians.

Obama’s first statement was that he — the US — wanted to be ‘Russia’s friend’. Then he clammed up/ran away from reporters, and let his three hundred advisers come up with something more comprehensive and stupid.
