Obama Confirms Relationship with CPUSA Member
Canada Free Press ^ | August 16, 2008 | Cliff Kincaid

Posted on 08/16/2008 7:49:18 AM PDT by vietvet67

However, the Obama campaign’s attack on Corsi’s book and Corsi personally acknowledges on pages 9 and 10 of its report that the mysterious “Frank” in Obama’s 1995 book, Dreams From My Father, is in fact the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) member Frank Marshall Davis. This identification by AIM and others hasn’t been disputed by the media, which has desperately tried to ignore the Obama-Davis relationship, but the Obama campaign has not responded to it until now.

From the article: “At this point, it is clear that Corsi is to Obama what the National Enquirer is to admitted adulterer and liar John Edwards. The Enquirer exposed Edwards secret life when the rest of the media were refusing to investigate the candidate and making fun of the Enquirer.”

Well put.

The media is still covering up Obama’s obvious lie about his opposition to the Born-Alive Act.

Obama’s Red Mentor Praised Red Army
AIM Report | By Cliff Kincaid | April 30, 2008

Barack Obama’s childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the Moscow-controlled Communist Party USA, wrote a poem dedicated to the Soviet Red Army. “Smash on, victory-eating Red Army,” he declared. He also wrote poems attacking traditional Christianity and the work of Christian missionaries.

The “Red Army” poem goes beyond hoping for the communists to beat the Nazis in World War II and hails the Soviet revolution. It says:

Show the marveling multitudes
Americans, British, all your allied brothers
How strong you are
How great you are
How your young tree of new unity
Planted twenty-five years ago
Bears today the golden fruit of victory!

Frank Marshall Davis

Obama’s Communist Mentor
AIM Column | By Cliff Kincaid | February 18, 2008

excerpt...

"through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his 'poetry' and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just 'Frank.'

The reason is apparent: Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What's more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations."

Frank Chapman, a CPUSA supporter, has written a letter to the party newspaper hailing the Illinois senator's victory in the Iowa caucuses:

"Obama’s victory was more than a progressive move; it was a dialectical leap ushering in a qualitatively new era of struggle. Marx once compared revolutionary struggle with the work of the mole, who sometimes burrows so far beneath the ground that he leaves no trace of his movement on the surface. This is the old revolutionary 'mole,' not only showing his traces on the surface but also breaking through."
People's Weekly World (PWW), official newspaper of the Communist Party, USA

Page 9 of the frantic Obama rebuttal:
REALITY: OBAMA MEMOIR CHARACTERIZED FRANK DAVIS MARSHALL AS A FIGURE FROM HIS YOUTH WHO "FELL SHORT" AND WHOSE VIEW OF RACE WAS "INCURABLE"
THAT is an admission that "Frank" was Frank Davis Marshall.

What do Obama and Osama have in common?

They BOTH have friends who bombed the Pentagon.

I really doubt many Americans care about this. Too long ago and Communism just doesn’t seem threatening to most people.

Don’t care much myself. There are much better reasons to oppose him.

If the McCain camp were smart, they would make this their campaign slogan! If shortened a bit, it would also make a fantastic bumper sticker...

Both Obama and Osama have friends who bombed the Pentagon

BTW: you didn't invent this, did you?

Thanks this helps clear up some things about the hubub.

““It appalls me at the thought that people would be naïve enough to vote for someone who admits drug use.” She says this view stems from 30 years of “watching parents wail and cry and talk about the hell their families went through” because of marijuana, cocaine and other drugs.”

Having been there, I can certainly relate to this.

True! This is why the McCain campaign must find some more creative ways to get this information the attention it deserves.

Are you kidding?? Haven't you been watching the news lately? Russia invading Georgia, the ChiComs, Hugo Chavez, Cuba, North Korea, etc, etc. The still communist-led so-called "anti-war" movement (of course you wouldn't known about that from the MSM). Anyway, it isn't just Frank Marshall Davis who is or was a communist, it's Reverend Wright, Bernardine Dohrn, Bill Ayers, his many communist supporters, here and abroad, on and on. FYI, Wright's Black Liberation Theology is all about communism, and of the worse kind. It advocates the violent overthrow of the American government, actually all Western-style governments. Thanks for the post but I wonder when the conservative media will begin to ask more questions about his so called Kansas values. Of course if you look closely you will see that his mother had no Kansas values. Form an article in the Chicago Tribune printed in 3/07 (even an article in the LA times in 7/08 refers to this)we find that obama’s mama at Mercer High school embraced the communist and atheist teachings of her teachers. And her parents did not disapprove. There was an uproar by other parents but her parents did not disapprove. At that point they even left the main stream Christian church.

So please if anyone has any connections in they media ask them to look at and discredit his claim to Kansas values. He does not have them. He has communist/socialist atheistic values.

I said “most Americans” don’t think it’s important. I believe that to be true.

Black Liberation Theology isn’t really communist in any proper sense of the term. No racially or ethnically based group can be, as communism is by definition internationalist and all about rising above petty national and ethnic differences between people.

BLT actually is much more similar to another variant of socialism. I believe it’s called “national socialism” and was quite popular for a while back in the 30s and early 40s.

“I really doubt many Americans care about this. Too long ago and Communism just doesn’t seem threatening to most people.”

I think many if not the majority of Americans would care about this if they were aware of Obama’s inclination's. As to being “too long ago, “ given Obama’s age, how long ago could it have been? As to Communism not being a “threatening” ideology, the deaths and enslavement of millions by Communist regime's testify to it's threat to life and liberty.

Great article - takes a Canadian paper.

If one of us were trying to get a lowest level security job - just ONE of these two things would prevent it - particularly the connection with Davis, not to mention all the other associations with enemies of this country.

But it's okay for the POTUS???

They obviously, after their first flustered attempt to bury the writer rather than answer the charges, couldn't dispute the Davis connection - just trying to water it down. However, what that does is let people who may be dubious about the book, ask - "Hmmm. Well, if they are admitting this is true, then ....?"

Waiting for a U.S. paper to print such a balanced piece.

Waiting.....

Waiting....

People will not perceive Communism as a real threat unless it has some chance of taking over. Which at present it does not. So they don’t see it as a threat, but rather as one of dozens of competing wingnut ideologies espoused by losers.

Examples: American Nazi Party, Scientology, Black Liberation Theology, the New Black Panthers, the KKK, Aryan Nations, CPUSA, Christian Identity, La Raza, Al-Fuqra. Etc., etc.

Any of these groups would bring death and destruction in their wake if they ever became strong enough to take over or even to contend for power. Since none are at present in such a position, most Americans just don’t view them as a threat.

Possibly this is short-sighted, but America has a 200+ year history of being short-sighted to long-term threats. So far it’s worked out reasonably well for us.

The MSM will never get this out to the general public. It’s going to take FReepers, bloggers, YouTubers and e-mail circulations by the millions to expose this stuff.

Thank God; with the internet, it doesn’t matter how much money Obama has. We can sit at our computers and offset much of the Dems lies and progoganda with a click of the mouse.
