Several of us have mentioned this, but rumor is he will be picking his Veep mate tomorrow AM, and it will be a "wildcard".

Problem is, the moonbats would go for it, bigtime.
Time to "man up" Juan, pick a Conservative like Gov. Palin, or else face the humiliation of losing with a RINO by your side.

Kennedy is an attorney, editor, and writer. She is one of the founders of the Profiles in Courage Award, given annually to a person who exemplifies the type of courage examined in her father's Pulitzer Prize-winning book of the same name. The award is generally given to elected officials who, acting in accord with their conscience, risk their careers by pursuing a larger vision of the national, state or local interest in opposition to popular opinion or powerful pressures from their constituents.

In May 2002, she presented an unprecedented Profiles in Courage Award to representatives of the NYPD, the New York City Fire Department, and the military as representatives of all of the people who acted to save the lives of others during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.

Kennedy is currently President of the Kennedy Library Foundation, a director of both the Commission on Presidential Debates and the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and Honorary Chairman of the American Ballet Theatre. She is also an adviser to the Harvard Institute of Politics, a living memorial to her father.

In addition, Kennedy has represented her family at the funeral services of former Presidents Ronald Reagan in 2004 and Gerald Ford in 2007, and at the funeral service of former First Lady Lady Bird Johnson in 2007.

Caroline Kennedy also represented her family at the dedication of the William J. Clinton Presidential Center and Park in Little Rock, Arkansas in November 2004.

She received her B.A. from Radcliffe College/Harvard University and her J.D. from Columbia Law School, after attending the Brearley School, and Convent of the Sacred Heart in Manhattan, and Concord Academy in Massachusetts.

In thinking about the Hillary as Veep possibility ... if I were her, I'd be saying "wait a minute here, if I'm good enough to be second in line maybe we need to think about switching positions of I can give this Saddleback lightweight some OJT." Maybe the announcement teased through Drudge was to lock her in but it will be delayed as Clinton evaluates her convention options and tells Barry to cool his jets.

Don't believe what you hear. She, and the Legislature, raised fees to the oil companies based on a sliding scale of the price of oil.

The oil companies have been getting Alaska oil on the cheap for years, thanks to the corrupt politicians she helped take out of office and put in jail.

The oil IS the property of the State and it's residents. They should reap some of the profits to help offset their highest in the Nation costs and alleviate some of the State's burden in supporting the infrastructure and welfare costs. Each Alaskan family gets, at least, $1200.00 directly from this action.

We have some REAL problems in this country and BOTH these clowns are trying to play mind games with this VP choice being dragged out. As usual, the MSM just sits back and plays along.
I was on the street in Warrenton VA this AM and some (white) guy with a BO button on approached me and informed me he was running for some office and I remarked “We are already at odds because of that button”, he made some smart a$$ remark about how I am probably one of ‘those’ that just votes party line.
I explained to him that I vote for the best person for the slot regardless of party, but do lean Right (far) and as long as he was foolish enough to wear the BO button he was already disqualified in my mind.
He mumbled something and left before I could ‘finish him off’.

Who was also extremely qualified to be the President in the event it was needed. Caroline Kennedy sits on boards of foundations and goes to funerals on behalf of the family. I don't believe she has ever even practiced law. What happens if President Obama dies in office? Can Caroline actually perform the job of President? This is absolutely ridiculous.

I've seen her up-close and speaking. She would never make it against a VP Cheney in debate. She may be Kennedy's daughter, but she is no John Kennedy. So Drudge was talking about this? I do believe that Obama realizes he doesn’t have a chance without Hillary on his ticket but I think a Hillary/Obama ticket will cause a big backfire! You can’t take the prize from “the one” without big trouble!

Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg: Another Lawsuit for the Kennedy Clan
As the Kennedys settle a $15 million suit with parents of Carolyn Bessette, Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg has been hit with another lawsuit.
On the second anniversary of JFK Jr.’s death, the Kennedy family is again in the news. The plaintiff in the case against Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg is the board of 929 Park, an upscale complex where John Jr.’s longtime former nanny, Marta Sgubin, has lived for the past two years. The duplex, which is worth about $1 million, went to JFK Jr.’s estate when he died…and specifically to Kennedy Schlossberg.

The problem, however, is that the building’s rules specifically state that apartments must be lived in by their owners. Though John intended Marta to live there indefinitely, even leaving her money to buy the apartment, it appears that Kennedy Schlossberg is unwilling to sell it to Marta, whose services she utilizes to take care of her own children. She is also not turning over ownership, which has been requested by the board.

The Board chairman, Susan Thomases has noted, “This has dragged for a year. We do not want this woman kicked out. Clearly, this is some control issue on the part of Caroline. When Caroline goes away for a weekend she has this woman, who’s totally devoted, take care of her children. The equivalent of servants’ quarters is a precedent we cannot allow.” Thomases went on to say that, “Marta wants to buy it. We want her to have it. Caroline will neither sell nor give it to her. We do not wish to embarrass Marta, but we are filing suit. This week.”
