If McCain chose Walter Williams, I would risk serious injury running to vote for them. Alas, it ain’t going to happen...

According to Hannity, the domain name “McCain - Palin 08” has been purchased.

This is (possibly) very good news.

If only he'd "get the message" about the problem we have in this country with crimmigrants.

The truly sad thing about this issue is that it can be handled in a compassionate way without giving away the farm. And if President Bush had focused on border and immigration security while 9-11 was still in the rear view mirror, he could have achieved miracles.

Just as was the case in Iraq, nothing can be accomplished until security is established. While security is being established, a sensible system to handle immigrants can be created. Once we have control of our borders, then we can reform our immigration laws.

But security comes first.

I’ve already decided not to send McCain money.

If he picks a pro-choice VP, he will lose my vote also.

“How about Condi Rice?”

No thanks. It sounds like some Cajun dish with beans and crawdad tails.

I heard she’s in a bit of a scandal...something about using her powers to fire a state tropper who was her ex-brother in law. Anyone know what’s up?

Is it just me, or does this make McCain a venal hypocrite?

There he was at Saddleback saying that life begins at conception while he was considering a pro-abort VP?

What am I missing?

Does he think that by alienating his base, he will mobilize the perfidious “middle” to his side?

I’ll vote for him, but I DON’T TRUST HIM.

Yes he was a hero, but that was a LONG TIME AGO.

I don’t think he’s the same man today.

As a man of convictions who really believed that life begins at conception, I could not choose a pro-abort VP for ANY reason.

“Why is John McCain even in the Republican Party?”

Because, despite his flawed positions, McCain is at the core a patriot. There is no room for patriots in the other party.

My first reaction was that this was a bit of crap the left dug up because they fear her.

More information revealed that this guy was a piece of work - wife abuse, abuse of authority as a LEO, etc.

McCain got a message from me last week. He also got a message yesterday with a donation after his performance this past Saturday.

If McCain chooses a pro-choice VP after what he said so STRONGLY on Saturday night at the Saddleback Forum he just might lose in November.
McCain said:
“I have a 25-year pro life record in the Congress, in the Senate, and as president of the United States, I will be a pro life President and this presidency will have pro life policies. That’s my commitment, that’s my commitment to you.”

After that statement, a pro-life VP will most certainly flush down the drain any gains he made with very many conservatives. Why? Lack of trust....yet again!
