Not quite FDR or JFK, if Obama picks Hillary as VP, they will be "BOHICA" [Here It Comes Again...]
I think Barry Obama will make Hillary his VP Choice. ^ | August 20, 2008 | RonDog [and TheEaglehasLanded]

Posted on 08/19/2008 11:57:24 PM PDT by RonDog

If, as predicted,
Barack Obama (B.O.) picks Hillary Clinton (H.C.)
as his prospective Vice President,
the two of them could combine their initals
to (almost) form the classic military acronym:

BOHICA!

Well that would explain her having a high profile at his convention.

He'll be uninsurable if Hillary is his VP.

What's in it for her?

It's lose-lose. If McCain wins, she was on the losing ticket. If Obama wins, she's stuck in a worthless job.

She'll support Obama 1000% this fall. Then, when he carries DC, she'll start gearing up for 2012.

Or 2-1/2 terms as President.

I agree. She wants the whole enchilada. I honestly don't think she has enough humility to accept the VP slot. That would be a step down, and "humiliating" in her mind, and would be like winning the silver medal instead of the gold. She strikes me as an all or nothing type of creature.

She will put on her happy face in Denver, and will do everything she can behind the scenes to insure an Obama defeat, then will run again 2012 after Obama gets waxed. She is by far the more electable of the two of them. She knows it. Obama knows it. Most of the Dem party is probably waking up to that realization by now too (despite their utter stupidity). She can't alienate the black vote though, so she has to grin and bear it, and wait for 4 more years, saying "I told you so" the entire time between now and then.

I agree that he has to pick her. It’s the only chance he has of winning and the Hussein/Shrillary union will lead to an immediate double digit lead IMO.
The script has been written:
-Hillraisers cause a furor and continue to hold Hussein down.
-Obama states: “For the good of the Party and America your voices have been heard”
-Media clammers “Dream Ticket” and Bubba banging interns for 80 days.
-Obambi gets away with another Flip
-Scraps the “Change” and “Hope” in favor of SOP DC politics.
-Sen. Cankles shares the T-Lock Box with Michelle and further emasculates a total wussy Dem.
-We all give 50% of our earnings to the Government.
That’s a wrap!

Plausible scenario except for the unknown ‘X’ factor: when push comes to cankles, will Obambi be able to stomach the idea of sharing his campaign and (potentially) the WH with the CLINTONS..... it’s always possible, even probable, that he’ll draw the line there and decide he’d rather run a greater risk of losing than have the Clintonista circus right smack in the middle of his life. Michelle, especially, may flip out at the idea of being in the middle of any more Clintonista drama.

Heh. If Oslama picks Hillary!, it's because he's been told he WILL pick Hillary!. They HATE each other.

The Dims can't help it. They are effed up in the head...... (slightly) worse than the RNC.

Michelle flipped out many years ago, to the extent that she can flip no further.

The missing factor, imo, is the time factor. How long until Obummer is mysteriously whacked and HRBJC take over the oval office again. Will they have to install two desks? And who will be under Hill’s?

She wants the whole enchilada.

Better for her to campaign four more years as “the one who could have won” than to fade away as part of another, losing ticket.

Think this scenario has about a 10% chance of happening. Don't think that the false messiah could handle 4 years of the Clintons. Anyhow, why would the beast want to tie her fortunes to this clown? What does Michelle think? She's been as quiet as a church mouse lately.

It’s gonna be Webb. Navy Cross winner, principaled (sp?) SECNAV, former Republican, battleground state, doesn’t have more Senate time than him - Webb helps BHO and would represent change & new way in Washington.

You are correct and BHO would be making the biggest mistake of his life offering it to her.

If he did, she would most likely accept and shortly after the convention she would release whatever live boys/dead women info she has on him.

Because she doesn't want VP, she will likely release her info before the convention.

There's probably a whole cadre of Dem operatives on the outside looking in, telling him he must pick Hillary, and another cadre of Dem operatives telling him that it will be the worst mistake of his life. Those are the ones closest to him, and they're telling him everything THEY know about the Clintons (stuff that we'll never know), and there's plenty of skeletons in the Clinton closet for Obama to be frightened of.

This is the kind of stuff that happens when your party is run by an abject moron like Howard Dean. The GOP has a lot of problems, and I'm fairly disgusted with them and their inability or unwillingness to fight the Dems tooth and nail on issues, but compared to the cluster flop which is the Dem leadership, they look like the frigging founding fathers.

A year ago, a Dem winning the White House was a foregone conclusion among a vast majority of the populace, with the only real debate being about how many seats in Congress they'd win or lose. Today, their candidate is trailing in the polls, doing terrible in debates, and generally looking unelectable. lol. Only the Dims could screw up such an easy win so badly.

That's what they get for being so in love with leftism, and being so out of touch with America. They thought this was their best chance to install a blatant marxist in a slam dunk win, and they just might blow it. They overestimated the hate that America has for the GOP when compared to the hate America has for blatant leftist Dem militants.

The Dem party is easily one of the biggest collection of idiot miscreants in world history. They only continue to survive due to the propagandist media, which no longer has a monopoly on news information. If they can't win THIS year, they're sooooooo screwed.

This election is not only about defeating Obama, it's about fracturing the entire Democrat party, hopefully beyond recognition. It's already halfway done, and they did it to themselves by coronating Obama over Hillary. I think it's possible to finish the job with a McCain win, at least imo.

The Clintonistas do NOT want Hillary nominated for VP in Denver. They want her nominated as PRESIDENT!

See the posting “The “Nominate Hillary Movement” Is Alive And Well (...well, “Well” is hard to use describing HRC)” here on FR for their possible operational plan.

Right now she has nothing. She is a loser. If she is VP, at least she’s close to the throne. If offered VP, she will take it.

Barry must be concerned about his floundering. He needs help. She offers that help.

It is a time-honored tradition in politics to call your primary opponents every name in the book - and then come together and joyfully hug in sincere unity. I expect that to happen in Denver.

Not if the loaf is moldy and spoiled.

She waits 4 years for a fresh loaf that she owns completely and has to share with no one.
