“This is the last time I will address a veterans convention as the Commander-in-Chief.” . . . sigh! I just can’t imagine our country without GWB as the Commander-in-Chief!

silent_jonny: THANK YOU for posting tonight’s DOSE!

Okay, now I’m starting to think that someone in Condi’s photo pool doesn’t like her. Check out the middle picture in #40. She’s got that same sickly yellow/green tint to her skin from yesterday that we were just talking about on the other thread and this time she’s outside.

U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, right, and Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk arrive for the ceremony of the signing of an agreement for Poland to host a U.S. missile defense base, at the prime minister’s office in Warsaw, Poland on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008.

Poland’s President Lech Kaczynski shakes hands with U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice (R) as Prime Minister Donald Tusk applauds during a ceremony to sign a missile shield deal at the Prime Minister Chancellery in Warsaw August 20, 2008. The United States and Poland signed a deal on Wednesday to station elements of a U.S. missile defence shield on Polish soil, a move certain to aggravate Russia-Western tensions over Moscow’s intervention in Georgia.

The formal signing comes six days after the two countries agreed to a deal that will see 10 U.S. interceptor missiles placed just 115 miles (180 kilometers) from Russia’s westernmost frontier.

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski (R) exchange documents after signing a deal on basing an American missile shield in Poland, in Warsaw. The United States has ruled out the use of US military force in Georgia, but the Pentagon will almost certainly be looking for other chess pieces to move to check a more aggressive Russia, analysts say.

OH! I think either the photographer or editor is trying to warm up the photos by using a warming filter or adding it while editing. It’s yellow and it’s giving her skin that hue. Look at the middle two photos in post #44. They generally have a nice warmth to them that photos 1 and 4 don’t have.

I noticed the different tone too. Hope it wasn't intentional.

Remember a few years ago, Condi was at a Congressinal hearing or something. AP/Reuters doctored the photo to make her skin really dark and the whites of her eyes extremely white, like they were glowing.

I am just hoping for about 20% from McCain. GW was not perfect but he was close and he loves this country.
I believe everything he did was for America. Glenn Beck said he was told by the President, he did not care what the polls said, he was doing what he thought was right for America. I truly believe that. God bless him.

President Bush’s helicopter flew right over my house today in New Orleans. It was kind of a thrill.

I bet that would be something to see--and hear.

Hi, Miss Marple! Great to see you :)

I pray that McCain wins and can fill his shoes at least 50%.

Amen.

McCain is going to win. The empty suit is toast

I believe so too.

(I'm still praying, though :)
