Condi has beautiful skin...she needs no “touch-ups” with
any kind of filters! Sheesh!

Texas State Technical College Airport in Waco, Texas August 20, 2008.

In case anyone is wondering why a technical college has it's own airport, it's because the college is on the site of the former James Connelly Air Force Base. They've still got the orange checkerboard water towers characteristic of older AFBs. Also using that runway is a facility of Raytheon/E-Systems (or whatever they are called now) which does special "conversion" work for the military and some corporate clients. Formerly it was Chrysler Technologies, which got bought by E-Systems which got bought by Raytheon.

Air Force one had some of it's conversion work done there.

Another reminder that soon he will go home to Crawford.

He may go there for a bit, but IIRC, he and Laura plan to move to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The Ranch is for relaxing, as best he can these days, but he's not ready for relaxing on a permanent basis just yet.

Remember a few years ago, Condi was at a Congressinal hearing or something. AP/Reuters doctored the photo to make her skin really dark and the whites of her eyes extremely white, like they were glowing.

I don't remember that, but it sounds like they were trying to make her look evil! But it really shouldn't surprise me.

The worst is the AFP. When I was looking for Olympics photos, their captions were so anti-American it wasn't even funny.

I love President Bush. I think he may be the most honorable man ever to inhabit the White House. I will miss him and the dose next year. Thank you, jonny, and all your whole team for this uplifting thread.

It would be wonderful if the entire eight years of it could be presented to W's presidential library. It is a great compilation of the events of his days put together by supporters. People who visit his library would really enjoy seeing it.
