Here’s my thought - it is nearly impossible for a male democrat running for president to look manly. The belief system and rhetoric in and of itself is indecisive, nuanced (read:weak), and downright effete. Clinton didn’t exactly rack up the votes he had Ross Perot as a lead blocker clearing a path for him. Obama looks like Dukakis looks like Kerry looks like Gore looks like Carter because liberal men are by definition metrosexual sissies.

The Dems brought all this on themselves. It’s no secret that Hillary would have been a much better campaigner for prez than Obama. She’s not qualified either, but Obama is abysmally unqualified. Hillary comes close to that, but still has more political savvy than the Anointed One. Just no charisma or good speaking voice.
Maybe Carville will put the bucket over Matthews’ head this time .....
