Clinton backers fuel anti-Obama cyber effort

WASHINGTON -- A massive e-mail and Internet campaign is under way aimed at derailing the nomination of Barack Obama and making Hillary Clinton the party's standard bearer next week at the Democratic National Convention in Denver.
"It's downright nasty," said Myron Lowery, a superdelegate and City Council member from Memphis, Tenn. He shared dozens of messages he's received with The Commercial Appeal of Memphis.
Lowery said he does not think Clinton herself is behind the effort, but that it's "her supporters, acting on their own because they're proud of what they have done for her."
Most of the messages Lowery has received from across the country come from Clinton supporters making the case that she won more votes in the primaries, she won bigger states, that Obama won states that won't vote Democratic in November, and that she is the only "electable" Democrat.
"Obama could not 'seal the deal' with voters during the primaries," said one message Lowery received yesterday from Sacha Millstone, a Colorado delegate to next week's convention. "The more voters got to know him, the more voters chose Hillary Clinton."
Earlier this month, the political director of the Colorado Democratic Party told Millstone that a complaint had been filed against her seeking to disqualify her as a delegate for her "disparaging public remarks" about Obama.
Michael Gordon of Parker City, Ind., wrote to delegates yesterday as a representative of PUMA (which stands for "People United Means Action"), noting that the Obama campaign spent $56 million in July "only to lose ground to (John) McCain."
"Where Obama once got a free pass on such despicable relationships with anti-American people such as Rev. Jeremiah Wright ... , (George) Soros ... , Louis Farrakhan -- the American voters are beginning to realize what a questionable and shady past this man has led," Gordon wrote.
"I think it's a terrible tactic," said Keith Norman, the Shelby County, Tenn., Democratic Party chairman, a Memphis delegate and a Baptist minister. "We had hoped that this kind of politics, especially from within the party, would have been abandoned. ...
"We have a historic moment that we need to grasp, and we need to move forward as a unified party," he said.

Great, the more they tear each other up, the better for our country. We are going to have our hands full keeping one step ahead of the idiot we nominated. It helps a bit when you don’t have to worry about either of these Marxists, since they are going to destroy each other.

If HRC was implicated by her party as the central conspirator in this scheme, she might damage Democrats for years to come. Cross fingers.

I got to go down to D&B Farm and Home and pick me up a few 50 pound sacks of Orville Redenbacher along with the grass pellets for the horses and the dog food.
I’ve already got cigars and a good single malt set aside for the riot portion of the program.

Everything Lowery said sounds as though Hillary Rodham wrote it herself.

I love the fact that the Democrats think that just by saying, “This is historic.” everyone should just shut up and drink Obama’s koolaid. This guy has been getting a pass since he got into Columbia, “Isn’t he well spoken, though...” Enough of this...let’s show Obama the kind of scrutiny the rest of us go through to get jobs, college acceptances, honorary accolades and the like.
When Obama takes his fall, it’s gonna be a hard one ‘cause it’s been building for over 25 years.

Funny comment today in the Reuter’s comment section:
“Don’t rule Hillary out. She kept her 1,437 pantsuits and Bill is itching to get back into the White House to check out the fresh crop of young interns. All they have to do is convince the delegates that Zerobama is unelectable”

I have heard, from alleged members on FOX, that PUMA means “Party Unity My Ass”. Are they trying to be more publicly acceptable now? I'm thinking the “Party Unity My Ass” is more appropriate—since most of these folks are, obviously, asses.

The Hillary supporters are on the mark in stating that Obama only obtained the nomination through caucuses rather than primaries in the major states - and they now have documented evidence that the caucuses were deliberately not conducted properly - e.g., many people were turned away and told they couldn't vote - and that that the caucuses were indeed cooked by the Obama people.
They have come up with quite specific evidence on this. And it is going to be very interesting for Denver.
We should listen up on this because it is a foretaste of how the Obama people will be operating in November. Obama may seem outright a disaster at this moment - but his backers are ruthless and hugely financed. They are just getting started
