Part of natures wonderous feedback system controlling the weather. As temperatures get hotter, pasty middle aged white guys take off their shirts when outside. The increase in reflectivity reduces the amount of sunlight absorbed thus cooling the Earth.

Not exactly. What the writer is doing is satirizing the extremists (but commenting about the (missing)source of the heat (lower solar levels), while pointing out (very subtly, that CO2 levels have been constantly increasing.
How come I and other posters know about the Earth’s feedback system that leads to equilibrium but these highly-paid “scientists” don’t?
These pompous fools can’t tell us what the weather will be two weeks from now. What makes them think they can tell us what it will be like 10 years from now?

Concepts of negative feedback and stable systems are generally the baliwick of engineers - typically EEs, MEs and AEs. The entire concepts of a performance surface, linear feedback, nonlinear feedback and so forth are remote theory to climitologists while they are everyday issues to engineers.

People in the Global Warming Religion do not do much “Adaptive Signal Processing”. They have trouble with facts that do not fit the narrative.
Man made global warming is indeed the one of the greatest hoaxes of all time. This argument though, is fallacious and makes doubters look silly. It's like saying "You can't even tell me with any certainty whether or not a coin flip will result in heads or tails, so what makes you think that 1000 coin flips will result in about 500 heads and about 500 tails?". The inability to predict short term variations doesn't preclude the ability to see long term trends.
Warmies are wrong because their theories about CO2 and warming are BS, not because weathermen don't always get short term forecasts right. .
Thank you Minn. I think the same thing every time I see that argument. Attack the facts not some straw man. CO2 caused global warming is the biggest hoax seen since the days of the traveling medicine man and rain makers.
