Teddy is hands down my favorite president.

Bully!

He pissed off a lot of folks and he didnt tow the party line but by golly he got some great stuff done.

I know a lot of folks wont like this... But McCain is the closest thing we have seen to Roosevelt in ages.

Pray for the best.

For years I thought TR was more talk then substance. We’ve had our share of those as POTUS throughout the ages. My opinion began to turn when I visited the Rough Rider museum in Las Vegas, NM. Then I read a book about him and realized I had been terribly mistaken. Many of you may know that the only reason his nomination for the MOH was initially rejected was because he spoke the truth about what the leadership was doing to his troops by leaving them in the marsh to become infected and die. His action to resign as Secretary of the Navy, reject a position of Commander and assume an assistance position to COL Leonard Wood to learn the way of the US Army impressed me very much.
