Sen. Joe Biden – Barack Obama’s eagerly anticipated running mate – should be named an honorary soldier in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). We’re all familiar with the IRGC: Iran’s unique corps of Islamist fighters who have been directly involved in deadly attacks against U.S. soldiers in Iraq – even Afghanistan – threatening our ships in the Persian Gulf; and organizing, training, equipping, funding, and providing direct operational support to Lebanon-based Hezbollah (perhaps the most dangerous terrorist army on earth). And that’s just for starters.

I specifically recall Biden recently saying that the idea that there is a global struggle against radical Islam to be wrong. But I can't find anything on YouTube.

Anyone else recall him making such statements?

Biden has steadfastly opposed any Amrican “threat” to Iran or Syria, and at the time of the Iraq invasion he was making very misguided statements in that regard. Biden and Richard Clarke were apoplectic that the Iraq invasion not lead to any action against either of those terrorist states.

I don't recall a specific quote - sorry I can't help you with that... I've been looking for an Obama quote myself, today - so I know how frustrating that can be!

Anyway, this is a really good editorial! What I'd like to know is what in the WORLD these politicians think they will get out of emboldening these terrorists and terrorist-supporting states. Do they think these people will "stop attacking us" like Spain's government did, if we appease them? What ARE these people getting out of their traitorous support of our enemies? This is so frustrating! It can't be that these people are all idiots - could it? Nah... can't be... there must be something else to it all. (I'm thinking it probably has something to do with their support of Communists and the Neo-Soviet alliance with Iran, Syria, Venezuela, etc... at this point).
