Tuesdays Convention program will feature the voices of Americans who share Baracks concerns and strongly support his detailed economic plan to grow the economy, create jobs, restore fairness, and expand opportunity.
Senator Hillary Clinton will be the headline prime-time speaker and former Virginia Governor Mark Warner will deliver the keynote address on Tuesday night. Pay Equity pioneer Lilly Ledbetter will also address the Convention on Tuesday.
Other Tuesday speakers will include: Governor Brian Schweitzer of Montana; Governor Deval Patrick of Massachusetts; Governor Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas; Governor Janet Napolitano of Arizona; Governor Joe Manchin of West Virginia; Governor Jim Doyle of Wisconsin; Governor Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania; Governor Ted Strickland of Ohio; Governor David Paterson of New York; Governor Chet Culver of Iowa; Senator Bob Casey, Jr., of Pennsylvania; Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont; former Secretary of Energy and Transportation Federico Peña; House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer; House Democratic Caucus Chair Rahm Emanuel; Representative Xavier Becerra (D-CA), Assistant to the Speaker of the House; and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) Chair Chris Van Hollen, who will use his time to showcase his top candidates for change.
Representatives Nydia Velazquez (D-NY), Linda Sanchez (D-CA), Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC), Mike Honda (D-CA), California Controller John Chiang, Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards, Change To Wins Anna Burger, and AFL-CIO President John Sweeney will also speak.
Wednesday, August 27 Securing Americas Future. Barack Obama offers a new, tough foreign policy that is neither Republican nor Democratic, but is a strong, smart American foreign policy to make our country more secure and advance our interests in the world. Wednesday nights Convention program will feature the voices of Americans who share Baracks vision of making America stronger and safer.

|CNN: Post-Biden Poll Shows Dead Heat (Obama-Biden Ticket Gets Dead Cat Bounce)
CNN ^ | Sunday, August 24, 2008 | Paul Steinhauser
Its a dead heat in the race for the White House. The first national poll conducted entirely after Barack Obama publicly named Joe Biden as his running mate suggests that battle for the presidency between the Illinois senator and Republican rival John McCain is all tied up. In a new CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll out Sunday night, 47 percent of those questioned are backing Obama with an equal amount supporting the Arizona senator. This looks like a step backward for Obama, who had a 51 to 44 percent advantage last month, says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. Even last week,...
I’m from Iowa and I agree, totally. They’re slime.
For those that missed it yesterday:
It is the ‘Medical Marijuana’ protest that never got off the ground at the convention. They all started chanting(while hacking up what sounded like hairballs): ‘A Country Divided Will Never Be Defeated’....LOL ?????
It is LAUGH OUT LOUD FUNNY!!
“This looks like a step backward for Obama...”
LOL, ya think?
Make sure you have plenty of RAID as well.
FR may not make it.
It was down last night.
This morning, it is loading slower than molasses in Antarctica.
Maybe we could start predicting the hour and minute it crashes today.
“Convention Conversations” starting on CPAN.
Wanna bring up the subject of housing again, Barry...?
Gotta run errands, but will be back this afternoon. Thanks for starting the ‘Live Thread’.
It is going to be a hoot!
Some speakers are not listed as “the honorable...”.
They are going to say the pledge?
The Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) and the Obama for America campaign today announced additional details surrounding Monday evenings tribute to honor Senator Edward M. Kennedy. His niece, Caroline Kennedy, will speak to his extraordinary work over the last 46 years on behalf of this country, as well as his future plans in the United States Senate. A video tribute, directed by documentary filmmakers Ken Burns and Mark Herzog, will also portray his love of country, family, politics and the sea.
Bwah hah hah hah hah...
Pledge of Allegiance
Hmmm, I see they're using Navajo Code Talkers. I suppose they reasoned that a Boy Scout troop would be booed and that a Democrat would hesitate to trash a minority group.
What do you want to bet that the Pledge of Allegiance will be on a big teleprompter?
I’m going with your agenda. I like it a lot better than the one that is playing out on TV now.

Are they slighting the Hispanic minority by not letting them do the pledge?
It needs the right music.
I've found the perfect choice for this convention -
"The Crazy World of Arthur Brown"
It was released 40 years ago this month. Perfect! Crank it up loud, especially during Hillary's speech.

Note to the 'Rats: Quite the rogue's gallery y'all got goin' there...
No doubt, and our National Anthem. With voice over saying ladies and gentlemen, please rise, remove your caps and place your hand over your heart.
I'll bet the MSM will question how many houses the Kennedy's own, and how Rose's estate was settled in Florida.
(Is a sarcasm tag necessary?)
That is about the most impractical outfit for a bike ride that I can think of. It’s almost guaranteed to get caught in the chain ring.
I hope they do...

Bring it on, 'Rats...
