Jindal is very impressive, could end up being in the class of Reagan. Eric Cantor from Va. would also be a boost. Either of these men would do quite well against Biden, and would energize conservatives.
He needs a Governor, not another Senator.
Thanks for swiftly debunking that, Billy.
Not unless she's pro-choice. Roe v. Wade is the Democratic Holy Grail, the ultimate thou shalt not touch. Palin wouldn't attract more than a tiny fraction.
Gezzz
The American people only elected 2 sitting US Senators since 1900. Now Obama has been dumb enough to go with an all US Senate ticket. We need a governor on our ticket and Palin is the best choice this time around.
KBH is about as charismatic as a rock and not very conservative. She has run away from the immigration issue. Biden would make mince meat out of her.
Kay Bailey Hutchinson is about like choosing Lindsay Graham. She is a Rino. Which ever way the wind blows. Look at Cornyn if you want a Texas Conservative (except for that gang of 10 sh*t)(Was that coryn?)
HUTCHINSON!!?!!?
NO WAY!
NO MORE RINOS!
NO MORE OPEN BORDER AMNESTY FOOLS!
NO MORE ANTI-FENCE SENATORS!
We have too many senators in this race. The senate beltway is OVERrepresented.
The choice must be a non-senator.
KBH has NO gravitas on the VP debate. Biden will wipe the floor with kbh.
McCain would be snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. (see also GOP=stupid party)
How about the U.S. ambassador to the Vatican, Mary Ann Glendon?
Medved really went nutz in the primary.
The fact he would support an open borders no fence candidate speaks to his jumping the shark.
Those that calle her a conservative by some rating system are only playing with statistics. (ala mccains lifetime conservative union rating vs his CURRENT much much lower rating)
Judging by his ads against Biden(about trashing Obama, etc.)he doesn't dare pick Romney or any other opponent that opposed him in the Primaries. Therefore it will be someone else, someone conservative and a Governor. I hope I am right, and we all have our dreams don't we?
If only Michael Palin could produce a COLB proving he was born in Honolulu.
Hope so too!
But why would anyone think that McCain is worried about Texas’ EV’s? That’s going to be the Numero Uno consideration in a VP pick right now.
Pro-abort, pro-amnesty, anti-2nd amendment rino. If McCain wants to lose he should choose her.
No argument. I would prefer Cornyn for the top of the ticket. Frankly, I'd rather have Duncan Hunter or Fred Thompson. But look at the names floated for veep. KBH is more conservative than any of them, including Romney.
Tax policy is probably the most important issue for me because lowering taxes not only implies a freer society, but a more limited government. Romney raised too many taxes (which is why CATO gave him a "C" grade as a governor).
Looks like the team is going into overdrive pushing the liberal KBH.
