Respectfully, I disagree.
I think that Pelosi, Obama, Kerry and people of their ilk are just so arrogant that they either don't know - or don't care - that others may have opinions that differ. Combine that massive sense of entitlement, with a bunch of 'yes-man' handlers that keep them out of touch with the masses (except in rigidly controlled circumstances) and the resulting mix is today's political stew.
I suppose 'narcissism' is a mental disorder, though, so you might be right.
